Hanna Instruments pH21-01 LCD Display Easy-Use Basic pH/ORP Benchtop Meter, +/-0.02 pH Accuracy, 0.01 pH Resolution, 115V
The Hanna Instruments pH21-01 is a benchtop pH, oxygen reduction potential (ORP)/mV, and temperature meter used in educational settings with manual temperature compensation, the capability for Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC), one- or two-point automatic pH calibration, a single-line LCD screen, a glass body pH electrode, and a hold function. A pH meter is commonly used to measure the pH of substance such as water, food, beer, or wine in lab, industrial and food applications. The single-line LCD screen displays the current measurement and the current temperature. A hold function freezes readings for recording. Arrow keys can be used to set the temperature value for manual temperature compensation. The meter performs ATC if using the HI 7662 temperature probe (not included). The meter has automatic calibration at one or two points at pH 4.01, 7.01, and 10.01. The meter comes with the HI 1110B glass body, ceramic single-junction pH electrode with a spheric tip, a gel electrolyte, a Bayonet Neill-Concelman (BNC) connector, and a 1m (3.3') cable. The meter measures ORP/mV when using a compatible ORP electrode (not included). The meter power supply is 115V, comes with a 12VDC adapter, and weighs 500g/1.1lb. The pH21-01 also comes with instructions. Specifications
H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back. A pH meter, also called a sensor or tester, is a device used to measure the acidity or alkalinity of a substance. A pH meter has either a portable or a benchtop body. Many portable meters are handheld devices. Some testers have an internal sensor, and may have a tip and body that fit inside of a container for measurement. A meter is commonly used in many different environments from laboratories to field research and manufacturing facilities. Researchers, manufacturers, and hobbyists use a pH meter in aquaculture, agricultural, wine-making, and water-testing, and for scientific applications. Some pH meters may measure additional parameters such as dissolved oxygen (DO), conductivity (also called electro-conductivity or EC), temperature, total dissolved solids (TDS), salinity, resistivity, or oxygen reduction potential (ORP)/mV. Hanna Instruments manufactures analytical instrumentation and supplies, including pH meters, electrodes, chemical reagents, and buffer solutions. The company, founded in 1978 and headquartered in Woonsocket, RI, meets International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standard 9001. What's in the Box?
