The achromat super contrast objectives provide clear, flat images to the periphery of the viewing field. Thomas microscopes feature a solid, die-cast aluminum frame and metal gears for years of use. An anti-fungal coating on the stage prevents bacterial and fungus growth. The reversed quadruple nosepiece provides additional room for placing and removing slides.
