Hanna Instruments Portable Lux Meter

The Hanna Instruments HI 97500 portable, water-resistant lux meter measures light in three different measurement ranges, has a light sensor attached to a 1.5 m cable, automatic shutoff, and an LCD screen. Three measurement ranges allow selection for a variety of environments. The light sensor is attached to a flexible, 1.5 m coaxial cable, allowing measurements to be taken from a distance to limit user interference. An automatic shutoff feature turns the meter off after seven minutes of nonuse, to help extend the life of the meter. The LCD screen improves readability. The meter has a water-resistant body, making it suitable for field applications.

Range is 0.001 to 1.999 klux; 0.01 to 19.99 klux; 0.1 to 199.9 klux. Accuracy is + or - 6% of reading, + or - 2 digits, with resolutions of 0.001 klux; 0.01 klux; 0.1 klux. The device operates on a 9V battery for approximately 200 hours of continuous use. Dimensions are 164 x 76 x 45 mm/6.5 x 3.0 x 1.8 inches (H x W x D), and the meter weighs 180 g (6.3 oz.).
