The T3 Innovation SSK250 Snap Shot cable finder is a hand-held meter to test voice, data, or video cables, either uninstalled or installed and energized, for length, faults, and distance to faults from one end up to 3,000'. This unit is compatible with coaxial, data, or electrical cables. The meter uses spread spectrum time-domain reflectometry (SSTDR) and measures in both feet and meters with an accuracy of at least 1 percent. Functions of this meter include calibrating nominal velocity of propagation (NVP) values, storage of most used NVP values, loop test for continuous testing, four-tone generator for cable tracing and identification, and auto-off. The LCD screen is backlight for visibility. The unit requires 4 AA alkaline batteries (sold separately) and comes with an F-to-RJ45 plug, BNC-to-alligator clips cable, F-connector-to-alligator clips cable, F-connector coupler, F-jack-to-BNC adapter, tone probe, and a hanging carrying pouch.
