Product Description Power Panel POE1000ILT ("T" indicates a lighted tone probe is included with a POE1000IL inline Power Panel). The ability to connect "inline" between two network devices makes this tester a standout. Two RJ45 jacks connect inline, passing Poe power through to the VoIP phone or IP camera. Link pulses can be detected and power can be measured. Also included is a port beacon feature and tone generator to help locate ports and wires. If you are an installer of VoIP phones or IP cameras, the Power Panel will soon become your favorite tool. Features: Locate network ports using the port beacon. Locate active network devices and display capabilities (VoIP phones, IP cameras, access points, switches, NIC cards). Display the advertised speed (10/100/000) and duplex (and cable pairs). Connect in between (inline) two LAN devices to display the negotiated speed and power pass thru. The tester also locates phones, FAXs and modems. Voltage and location on cable are displayed; Poe and cable location (end span and misran). Simulate a Poe device by pressing the "Test Poe" button. Tone cables: Locate cable runs by placing a tone on one end of the cable with the Main Unit and detecting the tone on the far side with the included lighted tone probe (if you do not want the probe. see Model POE1000IL).
