Ohaus Stainless Steel 21 Piece ASTM Class 4 Calibration Weight Set, 1mg to 100g

The Ohaus metric, stainless steel calibration weight set meets American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Class 4 specifications and designed for calibrating other weights, or electronic balances and scales (set of 21). The weight is constructed of stainless steel for stability, resistance to corrosion, and low magnetic susceptibility. The set includes two each of 20g, 2g, 200mg, 20mg, and 2mg weights, one each of 100g, 50g, 10g, 5g, 1g, 500mg, 100mg, 50mg, 10mg, 5mg, and 1mg weights, tweezers, and a hinged box with foam packaging for each weight. The weight meets ASTM E617, Class 4 specification for use as a reference standard for calibrating semi-analytic balances, and for student use.

Calibration weights are used to measure the weight or mass of an object using a balance or scale, or to calibrate other weights or instruments. Calibration weights can be certified or uncertified. Certified weights meet strict guidelines for accuracy and can usually be recertified. Certified weights are used in labs where a high degree of accuracy and repeatability is required.
