Testo 0563 0470 Dual Function Tachometer, +1 to +99999 rpm Range, +/-0.02 Percent Accuracy, 2 AA Battery, LCD Display
The Testo 0563 0470 portable contact/noncontact tachometer measures rotational speed, linear speed, and length, has a red visible-spectrum light beam, and a five-digit LCD screen. This contact/noncontact portable tachometer is used for measuring the speed of motors, conveyor belts, and other moving and rotational systems. It measures rotational speed, linear speed, and length for versatility. Its optical sensor is a red visible-spectrum light beam that works at a distance of up to 600mm for user safety. The five-digit LCD screen presents test results and the unit of measurement, and it can store the maximum, minimum, and average test result values for ease of data recall. It automatically shuts off after 30 seconds of inactivity to help preserve battery life. The durable body helps protect the tachometer from impact. The CE mark indicates compliance with applicable EU directives. It comes with a contact adapter, a cone adapter, a surface speed wheel, reflective tape, two AA batteries, and a case. This tachometer is suitable for measuring rotational speed and other measurements in mechanical or industrial engineering environments. Specifications
H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back. Tachometers measure the rate of rotation or surface speed of motors, conveyor belts, and other moving systems. Contact tachometers take measurements through direct contact with the moving surface, and can measure both rpm and surface speed. Typically, contact tachometers come with a range of attachments that can be used to measure speed on different kinds of rotary systems, which may include tips used for measuring shafts with a central hole or flat end surfaces, and rotary wheels for measuring conveyor belts. Noncontact tachometers take measurements from a distance using a beam of infrared light, and provide highly accurate measurements. Contact tachometers are an excellent choice for dirty and dusty environments; noncontact tachometers only calculate rpm but are considered safer because they do not require the operator to be in close contact with the moving surface. Contact/noncontact tachometers, also known as dual, or combination tachometers, can be used to take contact and noncontact measurements. Some tachometers can also take other types of measurements, such as count or frequency, while others can output data to a computer for analysis. Tachometers are used in applications such as automobile maintenance, mechanical engineering, and maintenance of industrial equipment. Testo manufactures portable test and measurement instruments. The company, founded in 1957 in Germany, has a U.S. office in Sparta, NJ, and meets International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standard 9001. What's in the Box?
