Slotted weights extends up to 20kg the scale capacity of Ohaus 1119D heavy-duty triple-beam balance (sold separately). Cast iron construction has durability and long life. The set of five slotted weights includes two 2kg weights and one each 10kg, 5kg, and 1kg weight.

Calibration weights are used to measure the weight or mass of an object using a balance or scale, or to calibrate other weights or instruments. Calibration weights can be certified or uncertified. Certified weights meet strict guidelines for accuracy and can usually be recertified. Certified weights are used in labs where a high degree of accuracy and repeatability is required.
