Orion AQUAfast Colorimeter

The Thermo Scientific Orion AQ3700 AQUAfast colorimeter has 2% accuracy, 10 user-defined method locations, automated instructions and countdown to measurement, seven languages, and an automatic shutoff feature. The meter has 10 preprogrammed methods, for multiple testing needs. Automated instructions with step-by-step instructions and countdown to measurement enhance test result consistency. Supported and selectable languages include English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazilian), and Polish. Other language support can be uploaded using an RJ 45 connection. It has a large LCD screen for readability, and auto shutoff turns the meter off after 20 minutes of non-use to help prolong the battery life. This meter complies with Federal Code of Regulation (CFR) FCC Part 15, has a Conformite Europeenne (CE) certification, and a two-year warranty. The meter requires a 10 mL sample, and many tests that the meter can perform require reagents (sold separately). It can be used for wastewater and drinking water testing, nutrient monitoring, environmental testing, food and beverage testing, and industrial applications.

Produces and detects LED wavelengths 430, 530, 560, 580, 610, and 660 nm. Resolution is + or - 0.005 Abs, and accuracy is 2% full scale, as measured by standard solutions. Dimensions are 7 x 3 x 2 inches (H x W x D), and it weighs 9 lb. (4.1 kg). (H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.). It operates on four AA batteries, for approximately 3,000 tests.
