Fluke 434-II/BASIC Energy Analyzer, +/- 0.5% Accuracy, 0.1V Resolution
The Fluke 434-II BASIC Energy Analyzer (also called a power meter) can locate, predict, prevent, and troubleshoot power quality problems in single-phase and three-phase power distribution systems, to help facilities reduce electrical power consumption and to improve the performance of electro-mechanical equipment. The analyzer measures voltage, current, dips, swells, interruptions, harmonics, power, energy, frequency, inrush, and power inverter efficiency. It calculates the monetary cost of poor power quality and helps to pinpoint the origin of energy waste in a system. The logger function, activated by a button, allows user-configurable, long-term recording of minimum, maximum, and average readings for up to 150 parameters on all three phases and neutral. The USB port and cable (included) transfers data to a PC for trend and waveform data analysis in Power Log software (included). A live dashboard-style display of RMS voltage, harmonics, flicker, interruptions, rapid voltage changes, wells, unbalance, frequency, and mains signaling provides an overview of power system performance and, using color-coded bars, shows which parameters fall outside the limits. The analyzer can measure the efficiency of power inverters (such as in a solar generation system) by simultaneously measuring the DC and AC power of a system to determine how much power is lost in the conversion process. For additional capabilities and measurement details, refer to the users manual. The analyzer complies with International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC)/ European Union (EN) 61010-1-2001, IEC 61000-4-30 Class S, Canadian Standards Association (CSA) CAN/CSA C22.2 No 61010-1-04 (including cCSAus approval), and Underwriters Laboratories (UL) 61010-1. It is safety rated 600V Category IV 1000V Category III Pollution Degree 2. Industrial power meters are commonly used to test and evaluate power systems. Specifications
*H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back. Industrial power meters measure electrical properties such as voltage, current, power, and energy to monitor the efficiency and performance of a power system. They are used for designing, installing, and maintaining industrial, commercial, and residential power supply systems. More advanced models have features for comparing and recording multiple measurements taken at different times and in different areas. Fluke Corporation manufactures electrical testing tools and software for industrial and commercial applications. The company, founded in 1948, is headquartered in Everett, WA. What's in the Box?
