Fixable rear support feet offer stability, so the balance will not tip over under eccentric loads, while overload protection prevents damage to the weighing cell and the balance if too-heavy samples are mistakenly used. The high-grade, chemical-resistant, die-cast aluminum housing protects the internal weighing cell from environmental influences and impacts, and reduces the effects of thunderstorms and electromagnetic interference from other equipment that may affect measurement results. The balance can be cleaned by dismantling the draft shield, without using tools or moving the balance. The glass panels of the draft shield are dishwasher-safe (non-autoclaveable), and the aluminum housing can be cleaned using most common cleaning agents, including acetone. A protective cover protects the balance during storage.
