Inside width 2 mm; flared at top to assist filling. May require modification of standard cell carrier to accommodate short cells. Self-masking type has black walls and bottom plate to absorb all direct and scattered light, and for improved sensitivity. Also recommended for use with spectrophotometers having band widths approaching 40 mm.
