μFocus targets give you a precisely formed dried droplet spot of predetermined size. You can work with larger (1700-2000 μm) spots and use standard spotting techniques. You can also work with much smaller spots (700-900 μm) that allow you to reduce the amount of matrix used, to maintain optimum matrix to analyte ratio with less concentrated or smaller analyte samples.
