Milwaukee Mi105 Portable pH/Temperature Meter, -2.00 - 16.00 pH, +/- 0.02 pH Accuracy, 0.01 pH Resolution
The Milwaukee Mi105 is a portable pH and temperature meter with Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC), automatic one- or two-point calibration, a multilevel LCD screen, a graphic tutorial, an amplified pH electrode with internal temperature sensor, and auto power-off. A pH meter is commonly used to measure the pH of substance such as water, food, beer, or wine in laboratory, industrial, and food applications. The multilevel LCD screen displays the current measurement, the current temperature, and graphic symbols as a guide to operations. A stability indicator helps provide accurate readings and a hold function freezes readings for recording. This meter has ATC for accurate readings in fluctuating temperatures. The meter also has automatic one-or two-point calibration using standard or National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) buffers. The meter comes with the MA914BR/1 combination amplified pH electrode with internal temperature sensor, Bayonet Neill-Concelman (BNC) and Radio Corporation of America (RCA) connector, and 1 m (3.3') cable. The meter uses a 9V battery (included) for up to 500 hours of continuous operation and can be set to turn off automatically after eight minutes of non-use to extend battery life. The meter displays battery percentage on startup. The Mi105 portable meter also comes with a calibration solution sachets, electrode cleaning sachet, a hard carrying case with foam inserts to cushion the instrument, and instructions. Specifications
H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back. A pH meter, also called a sensor or tester, is a device used to measure the acidity or alkalinity of a substance. A pH meter has either a portable or a benchtop body. Many portable meters are handheld devices. Some testers have an internal sensor, and may have a tip and body that fit inside of a container for measurement. A meter is commonly used in many different environments from laboratories to field research and manufacturing facilities. Researchers, manufacturers, and hobbyists use a pH meter in aquaculture, agricultural, wine-making, and water-testing, and for scientific applications. Some pH meters may measure additional parameters such as dissolved oxygen (DO), conductivity (also called electro-conductivity or EC), temperature, total dissolved solids (TDS), salinity, resistivity, or oxygen reduction potential (ORP)/mV. Milwaukee Instruments manufactures electrochemical instrumentation and solutions for water analysis under the Milwaukee and Martini brands. The company, founded in 1998, is headquartered in Rocky Mount, NC. What’s in the Box?
