You can take this durable and dependable microscope everywhere. It is perfect for exploring both at home or in the classroom. Microscope is battery powered- uses 3 standard AA batteries (not included) that will allow the LED illumination to run up to 150 hours. Microscope has an all metal frame with quality glass optics for superior performance and features a wide-field 10X eyepiece with a built in pointer, a revolving turret for easy magnification change (40X, 100X, and 400X), reversed object mounting- making it easier to position microscope slides, and a carrying case. Microscope is approximately 11¼” tall.
