ETA hand2mind, Rechargeable Young Scientist Microscope, (55483)

The ETA hand2mind (55483) Young Scientist compound microscope with rechargeable LED illumination is for use in classrooms grades 6-12 (ages 12+). It has 4X, 10X, and 40X(R) DIN achromatic, high-resolution, flat-field, parcentered, parfocal, color-coded, reverse-mounted objectives. The 40X(R) objective is retractable to help reduce the risk of damage to the lens. This microscope has fine and coarse coaxial focusing, a movable stage with positive stops at both ends that reduce the risk of damage to specimens or optics, and a reverse-objective mounting that provides more work space and easier access to the stage. It comes with a dust cover, instructions, and a five year manufacturer’s warranty. The microscope measures 10.5 x 4 x 5.75 inches (H x W x D). (H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.)
