The Ken-A-Vision T-19311C Comprehensive Scope 2 cordless, binocular compound microscope has limited stereo features, LED lighting with dimmer control (rheostat) and on/off switch, a 10x widefield eyepiece with reverse-mounted 4x, 10x, and 40xS DIN achromatic lens objectives, and is designed for biological use and educational applications. The binocular head has a fixed 30-degree incline and 360 degree rotation, interpupillary adjustment with a left eyepiece diopter to adjust for differences in eye strength, and a total magnification up to 400x. Separate knobs for coarse and fine focus provide sharp focus. The floating stage has clips to hold the slide in place and rack-and-pinion movement. Upper (incident) and lower (transmitted) bright and cool white LED light has a lower-level dimmer control (rheostat) and a separate on/off switch for a range of lighting options. The single-cast aluminum body has a built-in, retractable, carrying handle for strength and durability. A built-in rechargeable NiMH battery (included) enables the microscope to be used away from power sources. The microscope includes an allen wrench, cover, power supply, and instructions.
