Megger 280282 Tinsley Thickness Gauge, 0.0002"-0.015" Measuring Range, +/- 15 Percent Accuracy
The Megger 280282 thickness gauge measures the dry-film thickness of nonmagnetic material, such as paint, plastic, or plating, over an iron or steel base. The stabilized magnet is gravity-compensated and is not affected by temperature or vibration. The magnetic head makes the thickness gauge suitable for use on curved or irregular surfaces. The 280282 is commonly used in painting and plating and in manufacturing in the automotive, alloy casting, and costume jewelry industries. Megger manufactures equipment for cable fault locating, protective relay testing, telecommunications and data integrity, and power quality testing under multiple brand names, among them Megger, Biddle, States, and AVO. The company, founded in 1889, is headquartered in Dover, England, and meets International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2008 standards. |
