The Megger 242006 series duplex test lead with Kelvin clip is for use with Megger DLRO10HD, DLRO10, DLRO10X, 247000, 247001, 247002, 247100, 247101, and BT51 digital low-resistance ohmmeters. This duplex test lead measure both current and resistance when taking four-wire resistance measurements, which are more accurate than two-wire resistance measurements and allow low resistance values to be detected. The lead has a maximum test current input of 10 amp. The Kelvin clip directs current through one jaw and potential through other jaw when taking resistance measurements on cables and small wires. It has a 1.5" (4 cm) jaw opening.A test probe, test lead, test prod, or scope probe transmits an electrical signal to a testing device for display and analysis. Designs range from simple test leads with probe-style or clamp-on tips to more complex oscilloscope probes and current detectors. Some test probes, such as basic test leads, have wires with tips for connecting to test equipment. Other test probes, such as voltage detectors, are built into the meter. Depending on what is to be tested, the probe might either be passive or have active parts that require external power to operate. Some probes require contact for testing, while some are capable of taking measurements from a distance. Some also have finger barriers, insulation, or other features to help protect the operator's hand from electrical shock and burns. Test probes are rated according to the amount of voltage, current, temperature, or other input they can measure. When choosing a test probe, the maximum amount of input that the probe can measure should match or exceed both the maximum amount that can be tested by the test equipment, as well as that of the property expected to be present in the application.Megger manufactures equipment for cable fault locating, protective relay testing, telecommunications and data integrity, and power quality testing under multiple brand names, among them Megger, Biddle, States, and AVO. The AEMC 1030 digital megohmmeter is an auto-ranging insulation tester with a voltage safety check and two test voltages—250 and 500V—for measuring insulation resistance to 2,000MΩ to indicate the condition of windings or cables in motors, switchgears, electrical installations, and other insulated equipment, and it also measures AC and DC voltage to 600V, disabling insulation testing when a voltage greater than 25V is detected. When measurement is complete and the test button is released, the meter enters voltage detection mode and automatically discharges any residual voltage from the circuit under test. The meter can perform a continuity check to 20Ω and buzzes to confirm that a circuit conducts electricity. It has a 4,000-count LCD that shows readings numerically and on a 34-segment bar graph. This auto-ranging meter automatically selects the appropriate operating range for measurements. It is rated for category (CAT) II installations to 300V, which covers energy-consuming equipment connected to a fixed installation, including household, office, and laboratory appliances. The unit automatically turns off after five minutes of non-use to conserve battery life and has a low-battery indicator that signals when the batteries need to be replaced. It comes with a set of test leads, a set of alligator clips, a test probe, six 1.5V AA batteries, a soft carrying case, and instructions. Megohmmeters are commonly used for electrical maintenance and testing in industries such as HVAC, transportation, manufacturing, mining, and utilities, among others.SpecificationsMaximum insulation resistance measured2,000MΩTest voltages250V, 500VMaximum AC and DC voltage measured600VInstallation ratingCAT II, 300VStandards metEN safety standard 61010-1; UL listed E192383; CE markingPower(6) 1.5V AA batteriesWeight830gDimensions (H x W x D)*211 x 108 x 60mm/8.30 x 4.25 x 2.36 inches*H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is dept...

The Megger 6220 series four-piece duplex test lead set includes two current leads with spring clamps and two potential leads with crocodile clips are for use with the Megger DLRO200 digital microhmmeter. These current and potential test leads are for taking four-wire resistance measurements, which are more accurate than two-wire resistance measurements and allow low resistance values to be detected. The spring clamps have a 2.4" (60 mm) jaw opening, and the crocodile clips (also known as alligator clips) have a 0.9" (22 mm) jaw opening. Both the spring clamps and crocodile clips provide hands-free connection to a conductor. The leads have a maximum current input of 200 amp.A test probe, test lead, test prod, or scope probe transmits an electrical signal to a testing device for display and analysis. The Megger 6111 series duplex test lead with helical spring-point duplex hand spikes is for use with Megger DLRO10HD, DLRO10, DLRO10X, and BT51 digital microhmmeters. This duplex test lead measures both current and resistance when taking four-wire resistance measurements, which are more accurate than two-wire resistance measurements and allow low resistance values to be detected. The helical spring-point hand spikes compress and rotate to make contact with a conductor. There is 0.4" (10 mm) between the current and potential probe tips on the duplex hand spikes.A test probe, test lead, test prod, or scope probe transmits an electrical signal to a testing device for display and analysis.
