The Kyoritsu digital megohmmeter is an auto-ranging insulation tester with four test voltages for measuring insulation resistance to 2,000MΩ to indicate the condition of windings or cables in motors, switchgears, electrical installations, and other insulated equipment, and it also measures low-resistance to 400Ω and AC and DC voltage to 600V, lighting a warning indicator and sounding a buzzer when a live circuit is detected. The comparator function allows a reference resistance value to be set, lights a "pass" or "fail" indicator for subsequent readings, and triggers a buzzer when a reading exceeds the reference value. Up to 99 insulation resistance readings can be stored in the unit's internal memory. When measurement is complete and the range selector is switched off, residual voltage is automatically discharged from the circuit under test. The test button can be locked for extended measurement sessions. The meter has an LCD with a backlight for visibility in low light that automatically turns off after 60 seconds. The display shows readings numerically and in a bar graph. Megohmmeters are commonly used for electrical maintenance and testing in industries such as HVAC, transportation, manufacturing, mining, and utilities, among others. This auto-ranging meter automatically selects the appropriate operating range for measurements. It is rated for category (CAT) III installations to 600V, which covers equipment in fixed installations, such as switches in the fixed installation and some industrial equipment that is permanently connected to the fixed installation. It automatically turns off after 15 minutes of non-use to conserve battery life and has a low-battery indicator that signals when the batteries need to be replaced. It comes with a set of test leads with a remote control switch for initiating a test, a test bar, a safety alligator clip, an extension prod, a test lead storage pouch, six AA batteries, and instructions. The AEMC 1035 electrical test kit includes a digital megohmmeter plus accessories, for measuring insulation resistance to 20GΩ, low-resistance to 400kΩ, and AC and DC voltage to 600V. In addition to the megohmmeter, the kit comes with a remote test probe, a set of test leads, a set of alligator clips, a test probe, two hook-grip probes, instructions, and a hard carrying case for field testing applications. The remote test probe has a test button for performing measurements and a target light to aid visibility. The auto-ranging meter has four test voltages—50, 100, 250, and 500V—for measuring insulation resistance to indicate the condition of windings or cables in motors, switchgears, electrical and telephone installations, and other insulated equipment. Insulation testing is disabled when a voltage greater than 25V is detected. When measurement is complete and the test button is released, the meter enters voltage detection mode and automatically discharges residual voltage from the circuit under test. High and low thresholds for insulation and resistance measurements can be set, triggering an alarm when readings fall outside the settings, and will be retained even after the meter is powered off. The relative function allows a measurement to be set as a reference value and displays subsequent measurements as a positive or negative deviation from that value. The meter has a 4,000-count LCD with a backlight for visibility in low light that automatically turns off after one minute. The display shows readings numerically and on a 34-segment bar graph. The meter is rated for category (CAT) III installations to 600V, which covers equipment in fixed installations, such as switches in the fixed installation and some industrial equipment that is permanently connected to the fixed installation. It automatically turns off after five minutes of non-use to conserve battery life and has a low-battery indicator that signals when the batteries need to be replaced. The Megger 242002 series duplex test lead with C-clamp is for use with Megger DLRO10HD, DLRO10, DLRO10X, 247000, 247001, 247002, 247100, 247101, and BT51 digital low-resistance ohmmeters. This duplex test lead measures both current and resistance when taking four-wire resistance measurements, which are more accurate than two-wire resistance measurements and allow low resistance values to be detected. The lead has a maximum test current input of 10 amp. The C-clamp provides a hands-free connection to a conductor and can accommodate conductors up to 2" (5 cm). The C-clamp directs the current through the clamp and screw and the potential through a four-point anvil that is insulated from the clamp.A test probe, test lead, test prod, or scope probe transmits an electrical signal to a testing device for display and analysis. Designs range from simple test leads with probe-style or clamp-on tips to more complex oscilloscope probes and current detectors. Some test probes, such as basic test leads, have wires with tips for connecting to test equipment. Other test probes, such as voltage detectors, are built into the meter. Depending on what is to be tested, the probe might either be passive or have active parts that require external power to operate. Some probes require contact for testing, while some are capable of taking measurements from a distance. Some also have finger barriers, insulation, or other features to help protect the operator's hand from electrical shock and burns. Test probes are rated according to the amount of voltage, current, temperature, or other input they can measure. When choosing a test probe, the maximum amount of input that the probe can measure should match or exceed both the maximum amount that can be tested by the test equipment, as well as that of the property expected to be present in the application.Megger manufactures equipment for cable fault locating, protective relay testing, telecommunications and data integrity, and power quality testing under multiple brand names, among them Megger...

The Megger 249000 series calibration shunt calibrates a Megger 247000 series or DLRO10 series digital low resistance microhmmeter (sold separately). The shunt verifies the accuracy of the microhmmeter because the resistance of the shunt at a given current is known. The 249000 series is used to conduct more accurate resistance tests with a DLRO10 series microhmmeter.Megger manufactures equipment for cable fault locating, protective relay testing, telecommunications and data integrity, and power quality testing under multiple brand names, among them Megger, Biddle, States, and AVO. The company, founded in 1889, is headquartered in Dover, England, and meets International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2008 standards.

Hioki IR4057-20 Digital Meg-Ohm Meter Insulation Tester Comparator function provides PASS/FAIL decisions at a glance The comparator function compares measured values to pre-set reference values to generate a pass or fail judgment. (Can be used with insulation resistance measurement and low-resistance measurement.) The stable display is easy to read, increasing work efficiency. Instant judgment Since the IR4056-20 and IR4057-20 generate judgments as soon as the test lead makes contact, it is possible to make a rapid series of measurements in the manner of a continuity check. Identify PASS/FAIL using light and sound The IR4056-20 and IR4057-20 notify the operator of pass and fail judgments using a beeping sound, LCD light, and comparator indicator on the test lead with remote control switch (optional accessory), allowing determinations of compliance to be made without looking at the instrument. PASS When the measured value is greater than or equal to the reference value* Short beep  No change Green Fail When the measured value is less than the reference value* Continuous tone *Insulation resistance measurement Red Red Designed for safety and peace of mind Featuring improved convenience and ease of use DROP PROOF Testers are built tough to withstand a 1-meter drop onto a concrete floor AC/DC voltage measurement (With AC/DC automatic detection function) Use as a tester replacement thanks to DC voltage measurement functionality, which is useful in applications involving solar power and electric vehicles (EVs)
