View larger Non-Contact AC Current Detector Detects AC Current (200 mA to 1000 amps) through shielded wires, conduit, and metal circuit breaker or junction boxes with audible and visual indication. Additional Features Sensitivity adjustment increases or reduces sensor trigger threshold. CAT III-600-volt, CE approved and UL Listed. Includes Comes with pocket clip, four LR44 button batteries, and user guide. More Extech Instruments to Choose From DVA30View larger Combination Non-Contact AC Voltage and Current Detector The DVA30 is the only two-in-one current/voltage detector designed for electrical testing. It detects AC voltage from 12 volts to 600 volts and AC current from 200mA at 0. 2" distance and at much greater distances for larger current flow up to 1000A. Sensitivity adjustments increase or reduce sensor trigger threshold. Audible and visual indicators show the presence of current or voltage. It can be used to trace concealed wires in walls and floors, identify "hot" wires, and to trace current flow where voltage detection does not work (through shielded wires, conduit, and metal circuit breaker/junction boxes, behind walls, through concrete, or underground). The sensitivity is high enough to trip on low voltage HVAC or similar signal levels. CAT III-600-volt, CE approved and UL Listed. Complete with four LR44 button batteries and pocket clip.
