The GAG-810 provide a convenient solution for low frequency (less than 1 MHz) signal generation, specifically for audio bandwidth. Intuitive and simple panel interface provides quick frequency and amplitude adjustment, with dial/key shortcuts to different ranges. Square wave generation covers digital application in addition to the traditional analog using sine waves. The Amprobe AC68C digital clamp meter is a true RMS (root mean square) sensing, manual-ranging multimeter for measuring current, voltage, resistance, and frequency in electrical testing applications. It has a transformer clamp that measures alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) to 600 amp. The meter comes with detachable test leads that measure DC voltage and AC voltage to 600 volts (V), resistance to 4 kilohms, and frequency to 20 kilohertz (kHz). The clamp has two jaws that can close around a conductor up to 1.5" (40 mm) in diameter to measure current or frequency without touching or interrupting the circuit. The peak hold reading displays the maximum measurement of a current or voltage surge. An audible continuity sensor confirms that the circuit conducts electricity, and a diode test detects whether a circuit’s diodes are working properly. The hold function keeps the reading on the display, even after the meter is disconnected. The meter's backlit liquid crystal display (LCD) is visible in low light. The unit automatically turns off after 30 minutes of non-use to conserve battery life, and a low-battery indicator signals when the meter's batteries need to be replaced. A finger guard on the body of the meter helps protect fingers from shock.This true RMS (root mean square) sensing meter provides accurate readings when measuring linear loads, such as standard induction motors and incandescent lights, where the current or voltage has a sinusoidal waveform, or non-linear loads, such as electronic devices or motors, where the current or voltage has a sinusoidal non-sinusoidal waveform. It is a manual-ranging meter and requires that the operator choose the appropriate operating range. The meter has a 4,000-count resolution, meaning it can display up to 3,999 units (3-3/4 digits) before the operating range needs to be changed.
