The Megger PAT320 portable benchtop appliance tester is a benchtop tester that evaluates the safety of electrical equipment. The unit can be set to perform automatically or manually, with user-selected pass/fail limits to speed up testing and simplify the results. The tester supports all regulatory test requirements, including Class 1 (grounded) and Class 2 (non-grounded) equipment, International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) power cords, and extension leads. The tester performs a variety of common tests, including earth bond and continuity, insulation, touch current, differential leakage, substitute/alternative leakage, and functional load tests. It can also perform standard earth bond, insulation, and polarity tests on extension and IEC power leads. High- and low-current bond tests (25A, 10A, and 200mA) are selectable either by default or individually per test. A test lead null feature enables the use of extended test leads without affecting pass/fail limits or having to manually account for the additional resistance. The unit is safety rated to European Standard EN61010-1: 2001, CAT II, 300V. The PAT320 is commonly used by electricians and electrical contractors. Specifications Power supply (1) 9V battery Voltage range 90 to 120V AC Dimensions 9.5 x 2.1 x 1.4 inches (H x W x D) Weight (including batteries) 0.15 lb. Safety standards met International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC)/European Standards (EN) 61010-1 Cat II 300VH is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back. Component testers evaluate the safety and performance of electrical tools and appliances. The testers evaluate the grounding, current leakage, insulation resistance, and other electrical features. These testers work by providing a test current at a specific level, which is used to ensure that the appliance can be operated safely. Some testers may be pre-set to test the appliance or tool to a certain st...

The HMP series has set an 'all new standard' in the 200/400W power range. Units have a set- and read-back resolution of up to 1mV/0,1mA. Even fully loaded, the residual ripple voltage stays below 150µVrms. The outputs, earth-free and electrically insulated, can be synchronized using their current- or voltage-tracking functionality. In case of an over-load of one channel, the 'Fuse Link' feature can synchronously shut down all logically linked outputs. To complete the picture, users can easily set up basic voltage- and current curves using the 'EasyARB' function. For easy integration into 19" rack mount systems, all outputs and sense inputs are also available on the rear side of the devices.

The Megger DET4TC2 four-terminal ground resistance tester with professional ground testing kit measures earth ground resistance, soil resistivity, and ground voltage to evaluate the safety and integrity of electrical systems. The tester offers a choice of 2-, 3-, or 4- pole ground resistance testing. It can take measurements using the attached rod technique (ART), which tests on-site grounds without requiring the utility connection to be disconnected. It comes with a current clamp for measuring conductor current and electrode resistance and a voltage clamp for stakeless ground measurements, and when used with ART capability, the clamps can be used for taking fall of potential measurements. The clamps have two jaws that can accommodate a conductor up to 2.1" (52 mm) in diameter. The tester has a maximum resistance input of 200,000 ohms for testing the resistivity of a range of soil types. The tester's voltmeter displays the ground voltage during use, which helps increase operator safety. The operator can choose between 25V or 50V test voltage output, allowing the tester to be used in agricultural applications. For accurate readings in noisy environments, the tester can filter out ground voltage noise up to 40 volts (V) peak-to-peak. The DET4TC2 comes with a professional ground testing kit that includes two 164' (50 m) leads and two 98' (30 m) leads on retractable reels, four auger-style ground spikes, a tape measure, and a separate hard carry case for transporting and storing the kit. It also comes with one 49' (15 m), two 33' (10 m), and one 10' (3 m) test leads, four ground stakes, four right-angle terminal adaptors, a field calibrator for measurement accuracy, and one voltage and one potential clamp. The tester's liquid crystal display (LCD) is backlit for readability in low light. The DET4TC2 meets International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) safety standard 61010 and is certified for category IV installations up to 100V, which covers measurements at the source of the low-voltage supply, such as electricity ...

The Megger 210400 series megohmmeter is an analog meter that measures insulation resistance to help reduce shock hazards and downtime on electrical systems that include wires, cables, transformers, and electrical motors. A manual range-selection knob allows the operator to choose the measuring range and the continuously variable test voltage provides highly sensitive insulation resistance readings. The unit tests insulation resistance with low- or high-voltage test voltages. The shielded high-voltage output cable is permanently attached to the unit to avoid damage to the unit. The unit includes circuit breaker protection and redundant grounding connections for increased safety. The 210400 series is commonly used by electricians and electrical contractors. Electrical test meters report electrical circuit properties, such as voltage, resistance, capacitance, and continuity. Available in handheld or benchtop form, they detect electrical problems in equipment, wiring, and power supplies. A variety of probes, clamps, and leads can be used to connect the meter to a circuit or device. Single-function meters, such as battery testers and voltage testers, measure one property of a circuit, and multimeters measure multiple properties. Electrical test meters display information either in analog form using a needle that moves on a calibrated scale, or in digital form on an LED screen. Meters have electrical properties that are to be measured and the anticipated range of results, and should have a rating that is higher than the maximum value of the anticipated range. Meters measure electrical properties and are safety rated to measure a specific range of results. The range on the meter should be higher than the maximum anticipated value to be measured. An electrical test meter has multiple settings corresponding to potential ranges of values for the properties it can measure. A manual ranging meter requires the operator to flip through different settings until the correct range is reached. An autoranging meter cycles through ...
