The Supco LIT6P infrared thermometer with built-in penetration probe is for measuring surface and internal temperatures in a range of commercial and industrial applications. The infrared sensor measures temperature from -20 to 270 degrees C (-4 to 518 degrees F), with a best accuracy of + or - 1% of the reading plus 3 degrees C (5 degrees F). The infrared sensor takes measurements from a distance for applications involving hard-to-reach, moving, hot, or electrified equipment. The penetration probe takes internal temperature measurements. The infrared sensor has a 6:1 distance-to-spot ratio, which means the measurement field measures approximately 6 feet in diameter when the target is 1 foot away. A built-in laser pointer helps improve aiming accuracy when taking infrared measurements. The 4" stainless steel probe resists wear. The LCD screen displays the current measured temperature in degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius. The display is backlit for readability in low light. The thermometer operates on three AAA batteries (included), and it can be set to automatically shut off after 30 seconds of non-use to conserve battery life. A carrying case is included for transporting and storing the thermometer.SpecificationsInfrared thermometer temperature measurement range-20 to 270 degrees C (-4 to 518 degrees F)Infrared thermometer accuracy, measuring -4 to 32 degrees F+ or - 5 degrees C (+ or - 9 degrees F)Infrared thermometer accuracy, measuring 32 to 518 degrees F+ or - 1% of reading plus 3 degrees C or 5 degrees FMaximum infrared resolution0.1 degree C or FInfrared operating temperature and relative humidity0 to 40 degrees C (32 to 104 degrees F); 10 to 90% relative humidityProbe temperature measurement range-50 to 270 degrees C (-58 to 518 degrees F)Probe accuracy, measuring -58 to -4 degrees F+ or - 1.5% of reading plus 1 degree C or 2 degrees FProbe accuracy, measuring -4 to 392 degrees F+ or - 1% of reading 1 degree C or 2 degrees FProbe accuracy, measuring 392 to 518 degrees F+ or - 2% of reading plus 4 degrees C or ...
