The AEMC CA1720 Series portable contact/noncontact tachometer measures rotational speed, linear speed, frequency, period, duty cycle, and count, has an infrared beam for noncontact measurements, and a digital display. This contact/noncontact portable tachometer is used for measuring the speed of motors, conveyor belts, and other moving and rotational systems. It can measure rotational speed, linear speed, frequency, period, duty cycle, and count for versatility. Its optical sensor is an infrared beam that works at a distance from 1 to 50cm for operator safety. It has a digital display to present test results and units of measurement, and the display incorporates an analog bar graph for readability. This tachometer can store up to 4,000 measurements and has functions and automatic routines for data acquisition and storage. It is rated to IP 51 level of protection against dust and dripping water, and it comes with an FRB F connector, a 9V battery, 15 reflective strips, a hard case, and instructions. The AEMC model CA1727 tachometer also comes with a USB cable and software for data analysis. This tachometer is suitable for measuring rotational speed and other measurements in mechanical or industrial engineering environments.SpecificationsRotational speed range6 to 100,000rpmRotational speed accuracy1 E -4 +/-6 countsLinear speed range0.1 to 10,000m/min or ft/minLinear speed accuracy1 E -4 +/-1 incrementFrequency range0.1 to 10,000HzFrequency accuracy4 E -5 +/-4 countsWorking temperature range32 to 131 F (0 to 55 C); 90% relative humidityStorage temperature range-4 to +158 F (-20 to +70 C); 95% relative humidityWeatherproofingIP 51Battery9VDimensions216 x 72 x 47mm (H x W x D)Weight8.8 oz.
