Versatile gauge provides fast sampling results and great accuracy with a 1000 Hz sampling rate and ±0.2% accuracy full-scale. Internal memory of 1000 data points can be separated into groups allowing multiple tests to be recorded without interruption. Free data logging and graphing software can be used to transfer results to a PC for storage or further analysis, and set the gauge sampling rate from 0 to 60 readings per second. Additional features include high/low set points with audible and visual alarms, and a comparator output for production line integration. Gauge has three operation modes: track, peak, and auto peak. Track mode is for real-time readings. Peak mode is for displaying the peak reading, which will display until a higher reading is measured. Auto peak mode is similar to peak mode, but the display will reset after a programmed time period. Gauge body is ergonomically designed for handheld use, and made of aluminum for rugged use in a test stand. Display auto-rotates 180° to be easily seen from either position. Large, backlit display auto-rotates 180° to be easily read from either position. Plus the compression/tension icons and dual-labeled keypad allow for instant switching from push to pull testing for portable or test stand operation. What's Included: six tip attachments (hook, flat, conical, chisel, notched, and tip extension shaft), USB cable, padded carrying case, rechargeable 3.6V NiMH batteries, AC adapter/charger, and calibration document provided by the manufacturer. Free software available via download. Use as a portable gauge or mount on a test stand-the display automatically rotates 180° for easy reading in either position Measure tension and compression in three modes: track, peak, or auto-peak Integrate gauge into a quality system using the comparator output for repetitive pass/fail results Simple data logging at the push of a button or set for continuous data storage Log data to a computer, or optional printer, with the

The Shimpo FGV-XY DART 2.0 series digital force gauge with liquid crystal display (LCD) and USB, RS-232, and analog outputs measures compression (push) and tensile (pull) forces in quality control, consumer testing, research and development, and process control applications. The LCD shows either present force measured in real time or the maximum positive or negative peak force measured over the course of a test. It has a measurement accuracy of + or - 0.2 percent of full scale. The gauge has a 1,000-hertz (Hz) sampling rate and updates measurements 1,000 times per second. USB, RS-232, and analog outputs on the gauge provide connection to a computer or other compatible device, such as a motorized stand. A USB cable is included with the gauge. The meter can record and store measurements, and it provides statistics for recorded readings, including the highest or lowest positive or negative recorded values, the standard deviation of recorded values, the average of recorded values, and the last measurement value displayed. The gauge's comparator has user-preset high and low limits for pass/fail testing (also known as go/no-go testing). The gauge can withstand an overload of up to 200 percent of full-scale capacity. The reversible LCD and keypad provide readability when the gauge is held upside down. The user can adjust the speed at which the display refreshes, for readability, and the meter's response time can be set at 3, 20, or 150 milliseconds. A tracking function adjusts measurements to account for changes in ambient temperature and humidity, which can impact measurement accuracy. The zero function clears a reading on the display and zeroes the meter before measurement for improved accuracy. The display can be set to show compressive force as positive and tensile force as negative, or the other way around. The gauge can be held in one hand during use, or it can be mounted on a compatible stand (not included) for hands-free operation. A removable hanger allows the gauge to be suspended from a hook or fixture. The g...
