The Jonard large force gauge with round tip measures compression (push) force in quality control, process control, testing, and calibration applications. This analog dial gauge shows the present force measured in grams (g). A pointer on the dial shows the maximum (peak) force measured over the course of a test. It has a tolerance of + or - 0.01 (reading + maximum scale reading). The gauge's arm moves in either a clockwise or counterclockwise direction and can take readings in either direction. The round tip has measuring springs made from hard-tempered beryllium copper, for wear resistance, and can measure higher forces than a flat tip. The gauge's dial measures 2.5" in diameter.Force gauges, also called push-pull gauges or tension gauges, measure the tensile (pull) or compression (push) force applied to an object. They are used to test the strength and functionality of a variety of machines, electronic components, cables, wires, and consumer products in scientific, medical, automotive, quality assurance, and manufacturing applications. A digital force gauge shows the amount of force in digits on the gauge's display. Response time varies among digital force gauges depending on the speed of the processor. An analog (or mechanical) force gauge shows measurements on a calibrated dial. Analog force gauges are not as precise as digital force gauges, but they provide instantaneous measurements and can be used in a wider range of environmental conditions than digital force gauges. Hooks, compression plates, levers, handles, test stands, and other accessories can be used with the gauge for taking measurements on objects with a range of shapes and sizes.Jonard Industries manufactures hand tools for telecom, fiber optics, and electronic industries. The company, founded in 1958 and headquartered in Tuckahoe, NY, complies with Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directives in the manufacturing of all of its products.

The Shimpo MF series peak-hold analog force gauge measures tensile (pull) or compression (push) forces in quality control and process control applications. This analog gauge shows measurements in pounds (lb.) and can display the present force measured in real time or the maximum (peak) force measured over the course of a test. It has a measurement accuracy of + or - 0.2 percent of full scale. The gauge has an overload capacity of 165 lb. A push button on the gauge resets the peak reading for repetitive testing applications. The gauge comes with one hook, one chisel, one flat head, one notched head, one cone head, one large hook, and one large V-hook attachment that screw onto the sensor shaft for conducting tests on a variety of devices. It also comes with an extension rod for increasing the reach of the gauge's sensor. The gauge's body is constructed from die-cast aluminum, which resists wear. The meter measures 9.06 x 2.36 x 2.5 inches (230 x 60 x 52 mm, H x W x D, where H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is the width, the horizontal distance from left to right; and D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back) and can be held in one hand during use. DFS-Series digital force gauges are cost-effective tension and compression testing tools. Metal housings with large back-lit graphics LCD, these units fit perfectly in your hand. The display can be inverted, for a viewing that suit your testing position. Unit of measurement can be toggled by one simple key. Three modes of operation are easily selectable: Track mode displays live readings, Peak Compression and Peak Tension mode records the maximum reading sensed during the test. The gauge is ready to work without any setup. For a little more advance setup, the plain English language menu provide for simple setup of the instrument to your requirements. In Pass/Fail mode, programmable limits provide visual and audible indication if a test passes or fails. An analog bar graph provides perspective of current reading in comparison to the full scale range. The instruments can log up to several hundred readings at the push of a button. The data can be later viewed on screen, or sent to a computer through USB port. An easy to setup free windows based software program, with USB cable, are provided. DFS-Series are available from 1.1 to 6,600 lb ranges, providing a large testing capacities for various applications. This is an advance force gauge that suit both simple and professional application.
