872 Series Pressure Snubbers are designed to improve readability and prevent wear on delicate gauge mechanisms by slowing rapid pressure changes and reducing shock and chattering. A pressure snubber should be installed on a gauge in any application where pressure spikes and/or pulsations may be present. If a single snubber does not correct the oscillation, it is recommended to place an additional snubber in line with the first. Trerice Pressure Snubbers reduce the pulsation by forcing the pressure medium through a porous metal core and are constructed from brass or 303 stainless steel for use on a variety of pressure media.

The Winters PFP series pressure gauge with stainless steel 316 wetted parts has a glycerin-filled circular dial enclosed in a stainless steel 304 case and a 1/4" NPT male connection, and measures pressure with a single or dual scale with an accuracy of + or - 1% or 1.5%. The stainless steel 316 wetted parts provide corrosion resistance. The socket for the 2.5" and 4" gauges is one-piece welded for strength. The stainless steel 304 case is corrosion resistant and Ingress Protection certified IP66 for protection against solid objects, including dust or liquids, and is appropriate for outdoor and severe ambient and process conditions. The circular dial comes in 2.5" (63 mm), 4" (100 mm), and 6" (150 mm) diameters and is filled with glycerin for protection against vibration and pulsation. The dial is white aluminum with black and red markings. It has an aluminum, anodized black, pointer, and the lens is polycarbonate for high impact resistance. The pointer for the 4" and 6" gauges is micrometer adjustable for ease of calibration. The gauge measures pressure with either a single scale in psi or Hg. vacuum, or a dual scale of either psi/kPa or Hg. vacuum/kPa. The 2.5" gauge is accurate to + or - 1.5% of full scale value. The 4" and 6" gauge are accurate to + or - 1% over the entire range of the gauge, American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) B40.100 Grade 1A accuracy class. The male connection has a 1/4" NPT (National Pipe Thread) rate and comes with a bottom, lower back, or center back mount. The bourdon tube is drawn seamless stainless steel 316 for additional strength, the movement is stainless steel 304, and the welding is tungsten inert gas (TIG) for strength. The socket gasket, fill plug, and lens ring gasket are all made of nitrile rubber for a tight seal. This Square D Pumptrol 9013FHG49J59M1X air-compressor pressure switch controls an electrically driven air compressor in a power circuit when the adjustable threshold upon falling is reached and is set to turn off at 175 psi. The switch has a 1/4" NPT external fluid connection and is suitable for use with a lower-horsepower motor with 1.5 hp or less. The non-adjustable differential is 40 psi, and the adjustable cut-out range is 100-200 psi. The switch is diaphragm actuated and has a fixed differential.
