The WIKA brass adjustable throttling snubber has an adjustable needle valve to restrict flow under varying operating conditions, a temperature rating of 14 to 248 degrees F (-10 to 120 degrees C), a male x female connection with either 1/4" or 1/2" NPT rate, and operates under pressures up to 3,400 psi. The brass wetted parts are for use with non-corrosive liquid and gas pressure. The adjustable stainless steel needle valve restricts flow under operating conditions with variable pressure. The snubber has a nitrile rubber O-ring for a tight seal. It operates under pressures up to 3400 psi, and is effective for applications with pressures above 5 psi. The snubber measures 2.4" (6 cm) high and 1" (2.5 cm) in diameter and has a temperature rating of 14 to 248 degrees F. Pressure gauge snubbers suppress the effects of pressure pulses and pressure peaks to increase the service life of pressure gauges in harsh applications, such as on reciprocating pumps and compressors, hydraulic presses, or fluid power systems, and improve the reading accuracy of the gauge. Pressure gauges are instruments used to measure the pressure of a gas or liquid inside a vessel and, often, to help ensure the optimal amount of pressure for a given application. Pressure gauges can range from everyday instruments, such as those used to measure the air pressure in a car or bicycle tire, to highly accurate gauges used in mechanical and industrial processing. Most often, pressure gauges measure pressure relative to another reference. For instance, gauge pressure measures pressure relative to ambient air. An example of a pressure gauge measuring relative to ambient air is a tire pressure gauge or a blood pressure gauge. Differential pressure is the difference in pressure between two points, such as when measuring liquid flow along various points in a pipeline. An absolute pressure gauge measures pressure relative to a perfect vacuum, such as an atmospheric or barometric pressure gauge. All types of pressure gauges include either a male or a female mou...

The WIKA industrial pressure gauge has stainless steel wetted parts, which resist corrosion against chloride samples, and has a circular dial that is enclosed in a stainless steel case that resists corrosion. The gauge measures pressure from 15 pounds per square inch (psi) to 15,000 psi, and is accurate to a variety of percentages across the entire range of the gauge, depending on other standard features, such as dial size. Accuracy ranges are: + or - 2.5 percent of span; + or - 1 percent of span over the entire range of the gauge, or American Society for Mechanical Engineering (ASME) B40.100 Grade 1A accuracy class; or + or - 2/1/2 percent of span over the entire range of the gauge, or ASME Grade A accuracy class. The male connection is available as a lower mount, a lower back mount, or a center mount, and comes with a choice of a 1/8", 1/4", or a 1/2" National Pipe Thread (NPT) rate. This pressure gauge is suitable for use in corrosive environments.Pressure gauges are instruments used to measure the pressure of a gas or liquid inside a vessel and, often, to help ensure the optimal amount of pressure for a given application. The Winters SSP series stainless steel 304 syphon has a seamless 180-degree coil, and a male connection with either 1/4" or 1/2" NPT rate, and operates either in pressures up to 500 psi (3,447 kPa) at 680 degrees F (360 degrees C) or in pressures up to 1,650 psi (11,376) at 630 degrees F (332 degrees C). The syphon, also known as a siphon, is either schedule 40 or schedule 80 stainless steel 304 for corrosion resistance, and is seamless for additional strength. The schedule 40 stainless steel syphon operates in pressures up to 500 psi (3,447 kPa) at 680 degrees F (360 degrees C). The schedule 80 stainless steel syphon operates in pressures up to 1,650 psi (11,376) at 630 degrees F (332 degrees C). The schedule 80 stainless steel syphon comes with a male connection with a 1/4" NPT (National Pipe Thread) rate. The schedule 40 stainless steel syphon comes with either a 1/4" or a 1/2" NPT rate. This syphon prevents hot steam from entering a pressure gauge, diaphragm seal, or transmitter in applications with temperatures above 100 degrees F (37 degrees C).
