The WIKA industrial pressure gauge has copper alloy wetted parts, which resist corrosion against salty liquids, and a circular dial that is three inches in diameter and enclosed in a forged brass case for increased durability in corrosive environments. The gauge measures pressure from 15 pounds per square inch (psi) to 15,000 psi, and is accurate to + or - 2/1/2 percent of span over the entire range of the gauge, or American Society for Mechanical Engineering (ASME) B40.100 Grade A accuracy class. The male connection is mounted on the lower back of the gauge and has a 1/4" National Pipe Thread (NPT) rate. This pressure gauge is suitable for use with paper machines and hydraulic presses.Pressure gauges are instruments used to measure the pressure of a gas or liquid inside a vessel and, often, to help ensure the optimal amount of pressure for a given application. Pressure gauges can range from everyday instruments, such as those used to measure the air pressure in a car or bicycle tire, to highly accurate gauges used in mechanical and industrial processing. Most often, pressure gauges measure pressure relative to another reference. For instance, gauge pressure measures pressure relative to ambient air. An example of a pressure gauge measuring relative to ambient air is a tire pressure gauge or a blood pressure gauge. Differential pressure is the difference in pressure between two points, such as when measuring liquid flow along various points in a pipeline. An absolute pressure gauge measures pressure relative to a perfect vacuum, such as an atmospheric or barometric pressure gauge. All types of pressure gauges include either a male or a female mount to connect to the vessel where pressure is being measured, and display results on a dial with varying increments of measure across a given range.WIKA Instrument Corporation is a global manufacturer of pressure and temperature measurement instruments, including pressure gauges, diaphragm seals, pressure transmitters, and thermometers, that meet International Organizati...

The Winters PPC series pressure gauge with stainless steel 316L wetted parts has a liquid-fillable circular dial enclosed in a PBT case and a lower mount male connection with 1/2" NPT rate, and measures pressure with a dual scale (psi/kPa)/(Hg. vacuum/kPa) with an accuracy of + or - 1%. The stainless steel 316L wetted parts provide corrosion resistance. The chemical-resistant PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) case is color-coded for ease of process identification. The case comes in four different colors that are UV resistant and will not fade. The case is Ingress Protection certified IP65 for protection against solid objects including dust or liquids. The circular dial is 4" (100 mm) in diameter and liquid-fillable to protect against vibration and pulsation. The dial has an aluminum anodized black pointer and the lens is polycarbonate for high impact resistance. The gauge measures pressure with a dual scale of either psi/kPa or Hg. vacuum/kPa. The gauge is accurate to + or - 1% over the entire range of the gauge, American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) B40.100 Grade 1A accuracy class. The male connection is mounted on the bottom of the gauge and has a 1/2" NPT (National Pipe Thread) rate. The ring for the gauge is PBT and the bourdon tube is seamless drawn stainless steel 316L for additional strength. The movement is stainless steel 304 for corrosion resistance. The welding is tungsten inert gas (TIG) silver alloy for strength. The over-pressure limit is 30% of full scale value for pressures up to 600 psi (4,147 kPa) and 15% of full scale value for pressures over 600 psi (4,147 kPa). The working pressure is a maximum of 75% of full scale value. The operating temperature is -40 to 150 degrees F (-40 to 65 degrees C). This pressure gauge is suitable for machinery, process lines, compressors, and hydraulics with heavy vibration and pulsation.Pressure gauges are instruments used to measure the pressure of a gas or liquid inside a vessel and, often, to help ensure the optimal amount of pressure for a given appl...
