The Ohaus metric, stainless steel electronic balance calibration weight meets American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Class 1 specifications, and is designed for calibrating other weights, or electronic balances and scales. The weight has straight sides and a flat top that allows weights to be stacked. It is constructed of stainless steel for stability, resistance to corrosion, and low magnetic susceptibility. The weight meets ASTM E617, Class 1 specification for use as a reference standard for calibrating other weights and high-precision balances with readabilities as low as 0.1mg to 0.01mg. An optional National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) certificate ensures precision and traceability. The National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) accredits laboratories for compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 on the basis of their ability to meet the technical requirements set forth in NIST Handbook 150-2, and can provide accreditation to ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994. NVLAP calibrations and certifications meet all ISO, FDA, GMP, GLP, DOD, ANSI/NCSL Z540-1 and Nuclear requirements and are traceable to NIST. Procedures and processes used to generate this multi-page certificate, as well as its format and content, are prescribed by NVLAP. The document contains customer name & address, date of calibration, equipment and standards used in the calibration, accuracy class, true mass value (mass in a vacuum), “As Found†mass correction (for recalibration), “As Left†mass correction, uncertainty of measurement process (uncertainty to tolerance ratios are guaranteed), environmental conditions during test, construction and density of the weight, calibration procedure, and a statement of traceability to NIST. Mutual recognition arrangements include The International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC), The Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC) and The National Cooperation for Laboratory Accreditation (NACLA). The Ohaus metric, stainless steel precision calibration weight meets American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Class 4 specifications, and is designed for use as a reference standard for calibrating other weights, or electronic balances and scales. The weight is constructed of stainless steel for stability, resistance to corrosion, and low magnetic susceptibility. A tapered neck enables the weight to be lifted with tweezers, reducing the risk of contaminants adhering to the weight. The weight meets ASTM E617, Class 4 specification for use as a reference standard for calibrating semi-analytic balances, and for student use. An optional National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) certificate ensures precision and traceability. The Ohaus CS200 Compact Scale has a capacity of 200g and an accuracy of 0.1g (also called readability). The removable, stainless steel weighing platform can handle bulky samples in a variety of applications, including postal weighing, soil-sampling, or for home-use dietary needs. The scale can be operated using AC power or three standard AA batteries, offering full mobility in the field and when a power supply is hard to find, for up to 300 hours. When running on batteries, the scale turns off automatically after approximately four minutes if no weighing activity is occurring. The scale has an external calibration system, operated from the front-facing keypad (calibration masses not included), to ensure accurate measurements. Protection from radio frequency means that this scale delivers accurate results when used in production areas or near cellular phones. Overload protection prevents damage to the weighing cell and scale if too-heavy samples are mistakenly used. This scale is approved for use in compliance with CE-listed and FCC Class B Part 15 operation guidelines, and manufactured to ISO 9001:2008 standards. When used according to manufacturer’s recommendations, this product is covered by a one-year warranty against defects in workmanship or materials. The Adam Equipment LBK compact bench provides precision measurements with a two-second settling time that allows for increased productivity. The stainless steel weighing pan resists corrosion and can be removed for easy cleaning. This low-profile scale can be operated using AC power, or the built-in rechargeable battery for up to 90 hours, for full mobility in the field and when a power supply is hard to find. The auto off function can be enabled to power off the scale automatically during periods of inactivity to conserve power. This scale has an automatic external calibration system, and overload protection prevents damage to the weighing cell if too-heavy samples are mistakenly used. Using the keypad, the scale easily switches into preset parts-counting and percent-weighing modes. The scale has a backlit digital display for readability and weighs in five different units. The ABS plastic housing is durable and easy to clean, and is built to withstand tough field and lab environments. Adjustable nonslip feet provide level measurements and stability, so the scale will not tip under eccentric loads. Scales or balances are measuring instruments used to determine the mass of an object. Mechanical balances are the simplest type of balance, and use a lever and slide to indicate the measurement. Conventional balances are commonly used in offices, the jewelry industry, and in kitchens, and display results digitally, but are less precise than analytical balances. Analytical balances measure to a high degree of precision and accuracy (0.0001 g or better), and display results digitally. These balances have a cover with doors to prevent dust and airflow from affecting the measurement. Moisture balances analyze moisture content in a material sample, using infrared or halogen heat sources to dry the sample and then calculate the moisture content from the before- and after-drying weight, and display results digitally, on the balance, or transfer the information for display on a computer. Adam Equipment manufactures balances, ...
