The HI9565 Thermohygrometer is used to measure temperature, relative humidity, and dew point in greenhouses, museums, clean rooms, laboratories, and other areas where a controlled microclimate is necessary. The thermometer measures temperature from 0 to 60 degrees C (32 to 140 degrees F), with an accuracy of + or - 0.5 degrees C/+ or - 1 degree F. The hygrometer measures humidity from 20 to 95% relative humidity (RH), with an accuracy of + or - 3% RH from 50 to 85% RH and + or - 4% RH outside this range. The unit calculates dew point from -20 to 60 degrees C (-4 to 140 degrees F,) with an accuracy of + or - 2 degrees C/+ or - 4 degrees F. The thermohygrometer has an HI70602 calibration probe, which has a built-in microchip that stores calibration data. The display has a backlight for viewing in low-light conditions and has an auto-off function that shuts the power off after 20 minutes of non-use. The HI9565 is used by museum curation specialists, greenhouse owners, and laboratory scientists to monitor temperature and humidity.SpecificationsPower source(1) 9V batteryTemperature range0 to 60 degrees C (32 to 140 degrees F)Temperature accuracy+ or - 0.5 degree C/+ or - 1 degree FTemperature resolution0.1 degree C/0.1 degree FHumidity range20 to 95% RHHumidity accuracy+ or - 3% RH (50 to 85% RH) and + or - 4% RH (outside)Dew point range-20 to 60 degrees C (-4 to 140 degrees F)Dew point accuracy+ or - 2 degrees C (50 to 85% RH and 15 to 40 degrees C); + or - 4.5 C (outside)Weight340g/12 oz.Dimensions (H x W x D)164 x 76 x 45mm/6.5 x 3 x 1.8 inchesH is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.Digital thermometers are instruments used to measure the temperature of air, liquids, or surfaces electronically. They may measure temperature in Celsius, Fahrenheit, or both. Most digital thermometers use thermistors, which are small electronic resistors. Thermistors are made out of metals that conduct...
