The device operates as follows: The flowing medium presses against the paddle for the flow switch. The paddle is fitted to one end of a balance arm which is in direct contact with a prestressed leaf spring. At the other end of the balance arm is a permanent magnet. This magnet actuates a reed contact located within a moveable housing outside the media. The reed contact switches on or off depending on the position of the permanent magnet and the switch housing. The status of the switch may then be used to electrically control the fluid flow. The moveable reed switch on the unit allows the contacts to be set either normally open (N/O) or normally closed (N/C). FEATURES Switch point adjustable Easy to install Brass or SS construction Maximum pressure: 1450/3600 PSI

The Cannon-Ubbelohde CUSMC-500 calibrated capillary-style viscometer has a 1,600 to 8,000 centistokes (cSt) viscosity measuring range and is suitable for the measurement of transparent Newtonian fluids such as fuels and lubricants. It uses a viscometer constant of 8.0 centistokes per second (cSt/s) for calculating kinematic viscosity of sample sizes as small as 1.0mL. The CUSMC-series size 500 viscometer uses a 240mm depth water bath (not included) for temperature-control testing and a vacuum (not included) to draw a sample up for timed testing between two sets of printed marks. It includes an ASTM International certificate of calibration. This calibrated capillary-style viscometer meets the ASTM International D446 standard for viscometers and the D445 standard for testing viscosity. A viscometer, also called a viscosimeter, is an instrument used to measure the friction caused by the relative motion of a Newtonian fluid and a known surface, and is usually expressed in units of poise (P), centipoise (cP), pascal seconds (Pa s), and millipascal seconds (mPa s). Viscometers have several forms, including but not limited to falling ball, rotational, vibrating, capillary, funnel, and bubble. A falling ball viscometer measures the time it takes for a ball of known diameter and density to fall through fluid in a cylinder of known diameter. A rotational viscometer measures the force required to stir a fluid. A vibrating viscometer measures the power input necessary to keep the oscillator vibrating at constant amplitude while immersed in a fluid. A capillary viscometer has a narrow-bore vertical section with two printed marks that measure time required for a known volume of fluid to fall a known distance. A funnel viscometer, such as a Ford, Zahn, or Shell cup, measures the time it takes a known volume of fluid to flow from the base of a cone through a short tube. A bubble viscometer measures the time required for an air bubble to rise through a fluid. Viscosity measurements are used in laboratories, research and developm...

A spectrophotometer is a device used to measure and analyze aspects of light absorption in liquids and solids. Readings are displayed in digital or analog format. A spectrophotometer can have a handheld body for field use, or a bench-top body for laboratory applications. It may have one or more adapters to enable it to measure surfaces or liquids. A spectrophotometer is used for testing and measuring in anatomy, chemistry, agriculture, process plant, food and beverage making, homeland security, and educational applications.Thermo Fisher Scientific manufactures analytical instruments, laboratory equipment, consumables, and software under the Thermo Scientific, Fisher Scientific, Barnstead, Nalgene, and Orion brands, among others. The company is headquartered in Waltham, MA.

The Cannon ZCAC-1 Zeitfuchs cross-arm viscometer has a 0.6 to 3.0 centistokes (cSt) viscosity measuring range and is suitable for the measurement of either transparent or opaque Newtonian fluids such as fuels and lubricants. The new Pocket Colorimeter II Filter Photometer is a true go-anywhere instrument. It's lightweight and battery operated, suitable for extended field work or quick, on-the-spot process monitoring. The instrument has two channels in which measurements can be made. Each channel will accept a user-defined calibration curve. Up to 10 standards can be used to determine the calibration. The curve is generated by a point-to-point straight line segment between each standard used. Linear and non-linear positive or negative slope calibrations can be performed. A calibration curve may also be manually entered from the keypad if a previously determined curve has been made on the Colorimeter. At least two data pairs (concentration and absorbance) are required.

4-Ring interchangeable probe with built-in temperature sensor, ATC, for use with portable EC/TDS/NaCl/degree C meter with PC connectivity. The potentiometric method eliminates polarization and thus is the most accurate way to measure electrical conductivity in liquids. The probe can also measure in a wider conductivity range because it does not suffer from electrolysis. The probes are ideal for high temperature applications, are easier to clean and provide more stable readings. 1.5m cable.
