The cap of meter keeps the sensor moist when stored upright, and can be applied as a container for sensor-conditioning.
How to Calibrate
NO Tools is Needed, but buffer calibration solution is needed.
STEP 1: Turn on pH meter, Clean the electrode in distill water
STEP 2: Immerse the electrode in pH 6.86 standard buffer solution
STEP 3: Reset with screwdriver, until the display digital is 6.86pH. Then complete pH 6.86 calibration
STEP 4: Clean the electrode in distill water and dry it, immerse the electrode in Ph 4.00 standard buffer solution
STEP 5: Reset with screwdriver, until the display digital is 4.00pH. Then complete pH 4.00 calibration
STEP 6: Clean electrode and dry it, put the meter into PH 9.18 standard buffer solution. Check if reading is correct between 9.17-9.19pH
Tips
• The glass bulb of the electrode is fragile. Treat it carefully. Don't touch it by hard tools and fingers, suck the water on it gently when cleaning
• Clean the electrode with distilled water every time before and after use
• Open the battery case or replace battery, then need to recalibrate the meter

IP67 Waterproof pH tester with Large dual level LCD that displays pH and temperature (C or F). The large display shows reading in an extended range from -2.0 to 16.0 pH and simultaneously show temperature from -5.0 to 105.0 (Celsius) or 23.0 to 221.0 (Fahrenheit). Has a stability indicator and hold function that freezes the displpay for easy and accurate recording. THe large display also has graphic symbols to guide you through all operations. Comlete with a temperature probe for faster and more precise temperature measurement , this meter compensates automatically for temperature. Calibration is made automatically in 1 or 2 points with memorized standard and NIST buffer sets. Auto power OFF saves battery power after non-use.The double-junction electrode can be replaced in a very fast and simple way! The modular design allows easy electrode and battery replacement. The pH55's exposed temperature sensor provudes fast response time, and its proximity to the pH electrode guarantees much more accurate temperature compensated readings. Replace the electrode in a fast an simple way yourself! Just unscrew the plastic ring on the top of the electrode and replace with a new one.Ships complete with protective cap, 20 mL, pH 4.01 and pH 7.01 sachets of calibration solution, batteries and instructions.

The Milwaukee SE600 probe is a multi-parameter probe for measuring pH, conductivity, and total dissolved solids (TDS) in water testing applications. This is a replacement probe for the Milwaukee MW801 and MW802 meters (both sold separately). It contains a single-junction silver/silver chloride (Ag/AgCl) reference electrode that is sealed and filled with an electrolyte solution gel for minimal maintenance in general applications. It has a polypropylene body for solvent resistance. It is 16mm in diameter and 98mm long, and has 1m cable with 7-pin Deutsches Institut für Normung (DIN)-compliant connector for attaching to meters. An electrode, also called a sensor or probe, is an instrument used with a meter to test and measure parameters of a substance. All electrodes are probes or sensors, but not all probes are electrodes or sensors. Probes, such as temperature probes, are used to penetrate a material for measurement. Common electrode types are pH, total dissolved solid (TDS), oxidation reduction potential (ORP), and ion selective electrode (ISE). They come in standard models or in all-in-one (sometimes called 3-in-1) models, which have a built-in temperature sensor for automatic temperature compensation (ATC). Electrodes can be half-cell or full- (also called combination) cell type. They can be refillable or non-refillable. Housing material is typically glass or epoxy, and sensors are commonly made with stainless steel or a glass bulb. pH electrodes, which measure the pH of a substance, often have a glass bulb. The bulb senses hydrogen ions, and generates a millivoltage that is picked up by the filling solution and transferred to a wire that connects to the pH meter. ORP, also known as redox, electrodes measure dissolved oxygen in aqueous solutions to determine the level of contaminants and their ability to act as oxidizing or reducing agents. Ion selective electrodes (ISEs) respond selectively to ions in the presence of other ions. Electrodes are commonly used by researchers, manufacturers, and hobbyists in a...

The Gemological refractometer is considered by many to be the most important of all gem testing instruments. The primary use of the refractometer is to measure the angle at which light traveling through the stone is bent or refracted. This is called Refractive Index (R.I.). As Refractive Index is usually different for different gemstones, this provides an important clue for accurate gemstone identification. Gemological refractometer also can be used to determine whether or not a stone is single or double refracting. For doubly refracting stone, based on the difference between 2 readings you obtain from the refractometer, strength of the gemstone's double refraction (birefringence) may be computed and it offers an important gem identification aid, as it differs from gem to gem. Also refractometer is one of the few instruments capable to give you information for opaque stones as well as transparent stones. Quality of the instrument is important to enable you to perform consistent and reliable test for years to come. Our refractometer has all metal construction with built-in light (no flashlight or any other light source required) and polarizing filter, allowing you to perform all needed tests, it comes with vinyl soft case with belt loop for convenience while traveling and hard case for safe storage. Features: All metal quality construction Built-in LED light source with 3 x 1.5v batteries - included Accuracy: 0.01 Measurement range: 1.30 - 1.81 Polarizing Filter Weight: 0.9 lb Application: Gemology Hard and soft cases are included R.I. liquid is not included, please purchase certified R.I. oil from reputable sources. Please be aware that R.I. liquid is not included.

The Hanna Instruments HI 1285-6 is a pH and electro-conductivity (EC) electrode for HI 9813 series portable meters and has a single cloth junction, Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC), polypropylene plastic body, spherical tip, internal amplifier, Deutsches Institut für Normung (DIN) connector, and a seven-pole 2m (6.6') cable. A pH electrode is commonly attached to a pH meter to measure the pH of a substance such as water, food, beer, or wine in lab, industrial, and food applications. An internal thermometer sensor in this electrode provides ATC for accurate readings in fluctuating temperatures. The single cloth junction reduces contamination. The polypropylene plastic body with 8mm spherical tip is for general purpose and field applications. An internal amplifier provides a strong low impedance signal from the electrode to the meter. The electrode has calibration check capability when using the HI 9813 series portable meters. A DIN connector provides a tight cable connection and the electrode comes with seven-pole 2m (6.6') cable.
