Sound, structurally stable, design and specifications, coupled with a highly experienced, solid manufacturing and quality management system, guarantees YPG Adjustable Limit Snap gages supplied into the USA market are of the highest quality. Gages can be 'Set, Sealed and Certified' to pre-determined Go/No Go sizes in YPG's accredited calibration laboratory. A fully stabilized cast iron frame forms the base of the 'C' type adjustable limit snap gage. A one piece, rectangular anvil and two adjustable square anvils all manufactured from hardened, lapped, tool steel, form the base of the measuring gage. The large anvil gauging surfaces of the type 'C' ensures a long life and a consistently high level of measuring capability and repeatability. Additionally, having only two adjustable anvils, the Go/No Go setting procedure is quick and straightforward. The Quality Management System operated by YPG is ISO 9001-2000 registered. This certification encompasses the entire organization and confirms the company's management system meets the required standard and in particular confirms the desire to exceed customer expectations and to be continually improving the products and services offered. All gages set at YPG are done in the company's state of the art, A2LA certified metrology laboratory. Product certification can be supplied on any gage calibrated or set in the laboratory. Adjustable Limit Snap Gages are precision gauging devices generally used in a production environment for the rapid, accurate and foolproof inspection of component parts during and after a production. There are certain basic rules which need to be followed to ensure adjustable limit snap gages perform to their expected accuracy and have a long operational life. 6-1/8" - 6-5/8" inch range and 156 - 168mm metric range.

The Mitutoyo Absolute Digimatic ID-C series inch/metric electronic indicator has a choice of measurement range and resolution, an 8mm stem diameter, and is designed for taking measurements in machining, layout, and inspection work. The LCD can be rotated 330 degrees for reading from a range of locations. The indicator can be set to zero at any spindle location at the time of powering on. Functions include preset, origin-set, zero-set, judgment, counting direction switching, data output, and inch/mm conversion. An audible alarm can be set to indicate low voltage, over-flow error, and tolerance limits. Statistical Process Control (SPC) data collection can be exported using an SPC cable (not included). The meter is powered with an SR44 battery (included).Dial indicators are also called dial gauges, probe, and electronic indicators. These precision instruments measure small linear distances and object sizes. The dial magnifies the measurement so that it can be easily read by the human eye. Frequently used in manufacturing, laboratories, and other industrial or mechanical fields, dial indicators are used anywhere a small measurement must be found and recorded or transferred, such as checking the variation in tolerance of a workpiece. Standard dial indicators measure the displacement along the axis of the indicator. Dial test indicators are very similar to dial indicators, except that the axis of measurement is perpendicular to the axis of the indicator. Dial and dial test indicators can be analog, with a mechanical dial, or electronic, with a digital display. Some electronic models transfer the data electronically to a computer for recording and potential manipulation.Mitutoyo manufactures precision measuring tools, metrology equipment, and systems. The company was founded in Tokyo in 1934 and formed Mitutoyo America Corporation in 1963, which is headquartered in Aurora, IL.

The Starrett 216XRL series outside micrometer has a mechanical digit counter for ease of reading to 0.001â€, a tapered frame for measuring narrow slots and tight places, and a ratchet-stop mechanism helps provide uniform pressure for precise, repeatable measurements. The micrometer’s steel frame has a black enamel finish for protection and durability. The vernier scale on the thimble and sleeve is graduated to 0.0001†with a satin chrome rust- and glare-resistant finish. The spindle and anvil have flat, micro-lapped measuring faces for accuracy and are carbide-tipped for wear resistance. A knurled ring-type lock nut helps provide secure locking of the measurement position.Micrometers are precision measuring instruments that use a calibrated screw to measure small distances. These measurements are translated into large rotations of the screw that are then able to be read from a scale or a dial. Micrometers are typically used in manufacturing, machining, and mechanical engineering. There are three types of micrometer: outside, inside, and depth. Outside micrometers may also be called micrometer calipers, and are used to measure the length, width, or outside diameter of an object. Inside micrometers are typically used to measure interior diameter, as in a hole. Depth micrometers measure the height, or depth, of any shape that has a step, groove, or slot. The L.S. Starrett Company manufactures precision measuring tools, metrology and testing equipment, and saw blade products. The company was founded in 1880 and is headquartered in Athol, MA.
