The calibrated Mitutoyo 2416S-10CAL dial indicator is used to measure surface variations in fractional inches. It has a measurement range of 0 to 1", graduations of 0.001", an accuracy of + or - 0.002", and a range per revolution of 0.1". The dial is white with a contrasting hand for readability. The stem design provides a long clamping range, there are no through screw-holes on the frame for dust- and water resistance, and it has a lug back for mounting from the rear of the indicator. This unit has a 3/8" diameter stem and a #4-48 UNF contact point thread mount. Mitutoyo calibrated tools include a Certificate of Calibration that provides evidence that the tool has been calibrated and is within allowable error specifications. Mitutoyo calibrated tools are certified by Mitutoyo's American Association for Laboratory Accreditation-accredited calibration laboratory (A2LA Certificate #750-01) to the International Organization for Standardization/International Electrotechnical Commission (ISO/IEC) 17025 International Standard for testing and calibration laboratories. The dial has a jeweled bearing for accurate readings. This model is a continuous dial with a reading of 0-100, for direct readings. It has a force of 1.8 Newtons (N) or less.SpecificationsRange0 to 1"Graduations0.001"Accuracy+ or - 0.002" (overall)Range per revolution0.1"Measuring force1.8N or lessStem#4-48 UNF contact point thread mount with 3/8" diameter spindleFaceDial, white face, jeweled bearing, lug on backDial reading0-100Dimensions115.7 x 57 x 25.3mm (H x W x D), not including lugShipping weight0.57lb.H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.Dial indicators are also called dial gauges, probe, and electronic indicators. The Brown & Sharpe Vernier Depth Gauges, Micrometer Type, Metric, have a measurement range of 0 to 75mm and 0 to 150mm, and a resolution (or smallest graduation interval) of 0.01mm, with + or - 0.003mm of accuracy. The vernier scale provides precise, fine measurements. These depth gauges have a 100 mm long hardened, precision base, that is used as a reference for measurements. They have a friction thimble for uniform measurements. They include three or six 4mm diameter rods, depending on the model. These gauges conform to the Deutsches Institut für Normung (DIN) 863 T2 (style T) and Norme Française (NF) E 11-097 standards. They have a satin-chrome finish to reduce glare when reading measurements and come with a fitted wooden case. Depth gauges are typically used in manufacturing, machining, and mechanical engineering. Depth gauges are precision measuring instruments used to determine the depth of any shape that has a step, groove, or slot. These gauges often take the form of sliders that travel on a measuring beam or rods, are moved to position by hand, and then adjusted with a calibrated screw. The base of the gauge rests at the top of the shape whose recession is to be measured, while the beam or rods extend to the bottom of the recession to determine the measurement. Gauge position is read from a graduated scale, dial, counters, or an electronic display.Brown & Sharpe manufactures precision measuring equipment and metrology hand tools. The company, founded in 1833, is headquartered in North Kingstown, RI.

The Mitutoyo 103 series outside micrometer has a vernier scale in inch units for taking precise outside diameter (OD) measurements, and a ratchet-stop mechanism for uniform pressure during adjustment. The micrometer’s frame has a baked enamel finish for protection and durability. The vernier scale on the thimble and sleeve is graduated to 0.001â€, with a satin chrome rust- and glare-resistant finish. The spindle and anvil have flat measuring faces and are carbide-tipped for wear resistance. A spindle lock helps provide secure locking of the measurement position.Micrometers are precision measuring instruments that use a calibrated screw to measure small distances. These measurements are translated into large rotations of the screw that are then able to be read from a scale or a dial. Micrometers are typically used in manufacturing, machining, and mechanical engineering. There are three types of micrometer: outside, inside, and depth. Outside micrometers may also be called micrometer calipers, and are used to measure the length, width, or outside diameter of an object. Inside micrometers are typically used to measure interior diameter, as in a hole. Depth micrometers measure the height, or depth, of any shape that has a step, groove, or slot.Mitutoyo manufactures precision measuring tools, metrology equipment, and systems. The company was founded in Tokyo in 1934 and formed Mitutoyo America Corporation in 1963, which is headquartered in Aurora, IL.

The Mitutoyo 139 series tubular vernier inside micrometer includes a set of extension pipes with anvils for a diversified range of measurement measuring inside dimensions (ID) of cylinders, rings, and parallel surfaces. It has a vernier scale in inch units for taking precise ID measurements to 0.001â€, and a satin chrome rust- and glare-resistant finish. The micrometer head has a travel of 1†per revolution that helps provide quick positioning. The hollow, tubular extension pipes help provide light weight with rigidity. A locking clamp helps hold measurements in place.
