The Mitutoyo Series 329 Digital LCD Depth Gauges, Interchangeable Rods, Micrometer Type, Metric, depending on the model, has a range of either 0 to 150mm or 0 to 300mm and a resolution (or smallest graduation interval) of 0.001mm. (See the product catalog for information on accuracy.) Depending on the measuring range, these gauges include 6 or 12 measuring rods that can be adjusted in 25mm increments. The LCD screen display has origin-set, preset, zero, data hold, and data output functions for the users' convenience, and displays in metric measurements. The gauges have a ratchet stop and measuring rod clamp for precise measurements. They have a satin chrome finish for readability. The bases are 101.6mm long and made of hardened steel for durability and accuracy. These gauges conform to European Conformity (CE) marking. The gauges in this series include an SR44 battery and a fitted plastic case. Depth gauges are typically used in manufacturing, machining, and mechanical engineering. Depth gauges are precision measuring instruments used to determine the depth of any shape that has a step, groove, or slot. These gauges often take the form of sliders that travel on a measuring beam or rods, are moved to position by hand, and then adjusted with a calibrated screw. The base of the gauge rests at the top of the shape whose recession is to be measured, while the beam or rods extend to the bottom of the recession to determine the measurement. Gauge position is read from a graduated scale, dial, counters, or an electronic display.Mitutoyo manufactures precision measuring tools, metrology equipment, and related systems. The company, founded in Tokyo in 1934, formed Mitutoyo America Corporation in 1963 with headquarters in Aurora, IL.

The Fowler 54-565-233 High-Accuracy Ultima Bore Gauging System has a measurement range of 7.878 to 8.27" and is accurate to + or - 0.00006". Resolution is 0.00001" and the measuring depth is 3.15". The gauge has constant spring pressure for repeatability and Bower's FastFit measuring heads for rapid measurement. It uses a three-point contact system for the detection of lobing or triangular form error, and ceramic contact points provide high durability and stability with regard to thermal expansion. The Ultima system requires connection to a Sylvac or multiplexer display unit. This product has 1 year warranty offered by Fowler High Precision. If you experience any problem contact Fowler directly for warranty claims.

The PaintCheck Paint Thickness Gauge is a precision instrument that provides fast, non-destructive coating thickness measurements on steel and non-ferrous metals. It is intended for use by car dealerships, auto body shops, insurance adjusters and similar users who only need a simple, one-handed basic gauge. The resolution is limited to 0.5 mils (5 m) and should not be confused with our other "precision" gauges as this is adequate for basic thickness "checks".

The Starrett 124MB solid-rod inside micrometer set offers a range from 50 mm to 300 mm and is graduated at 0.01 mm intervals. The hardened, radius-ground anvils on rods are accurate. Solid-rod inside micrometers are often used for measuring the inside diameter of a cylinder or ring and when measuring parallel surfaces. The micrometer head, rods, and spacing collars are assembled to the desired range and then adjusted to obtain the measurement. Micrometers are precision measuring instruments that use a calibrated screw to measure small distances. These measurements are translated into large rotations of the screw that are then able to be read from a scale or a dial. Micrometers are typically used in manufacturing, machining, and mechanical engineering. There are three types of micrometer: outside, inside, and depth. Outside micrometers may also be called micrometer calipers, and are used to measure the length, width, or outside diameter of an object. Inside micrometers are typically used to measure interior diameter, as in a hole. Depth micrometers measure the height, or depth, of any shape that has a step, groove, or slot. The L. S. Starrett Company was founded in 1880, originally manufacturing bench vises, squares, and other tools. They acquired other companies throughout the years, expanding their services into making precision measurement instruments and tools, such as calipers, micrometers, saw blades, and gauges. Starrett is headquartered in Athol, Massachusetts and has manufacturing facilities in Brazil, the United Kingdom, China, and other locations.

These gauges directly measure the diameter of chamfered holes. No setting master is necessary. When the three-blade plunger is pressed against a flat surface, the gauge should read the set number stamped on the back of the indicator. In case of wear, the gauge may be adjusted to read the proper number.
