The Mitutoyo 543-402B Absolute Digimatic electronic indicator gauge, ID-C series, is for measuring short, linear distances in mechanical engineering, machining, and manufacturing applications. It has a measurement range of 0 to 0.5" (0 to 12.7mm), a resolution of 0.0005" (0.01mm), and an accuracy of + or - 0.001". The LCD screen displays measurements in inches and metric units. The indicator has a go/no-go display that lights green or red, respectively, when upper and/or lower tolerances have been set, and the result can be displayed in full-size characters. The face of the indicator can be rotated 330 degrees for reading from different directions. This unit has a 3/8" diameter stem and a #4-48 UNF contact point thread mount. It has a flat back for stem/plate mounting. An Absolute electrostatic capacitance-type linear encoder helps prevent overspeed errors for taking accurate measurements. This model is Ingress Protection certified IP42 for protection against objects greater than 1mm and dripping water.Additional functions for this indicator include origin set, preset, zero set, counting direction switching, and alerts for low voltage, counting value composition, overflow, and tolerance limit setting errors. The measuring force is 0.9 Newtons (N) or less. It has a battery life of approximately 7,000 hours of normal use. This unit comes with a SR-44 battery. This gauge offers serial data output (using optional SPC cables, sold separately), which increases speed and reliability of digital measurement records.SpecificationsRange0 to 0.5" (0 to 12.7mm)Resolution0.0005" (0.01mm)Accuracy+ or - 0.001" with quantizing error of 1 countMeasuring force0.9N or lessStem#4-48 UNF contact point thread mount with 3/8" diameter stemFaceBacklit LCD displays in both inches and metric units, green or red lighting displays go/no-go judgment, rotates 330 degrees, with flat backData outputYesDimensions117.8 x 59 x 36.4mm (H x W x D)Shipping weight0.5lb.StandardsIP42Power sourceSR-44 battery (included)H is height, the vertical distance ...

The Mitutoyo Series 527 Vernier Depth Gauges, Some with Fine Adjustment, Caliper Type, Metric, depending on the model, have a measurement range from 0 to 150mm to 0 to 1000mm, a resolution (or smallest graduation interval) of either 0.02 or 0.05mm, with + or – 0.03 to 0.15mm of accuracy. The vernier scale provides precise measurements. Some models provide a fine adjustment screw for taking precise measurements. These gauges are made of hardened steel and the bases of the units and measuring faces are hardened and lapped for durability and accuracy. An optional wider extension base is sold separately. Depth gauges are typically used in manufacturing, machining, and mechanical engineering. Depth gauges are precision measuring instruments used to determine the depth of any shape that has a step, groove, or slot. These gauges often take the form of sliders that travel on a measuring beam or rods, are moved to position by hand, and then adjusted with a calibrated screw. The base of the gauge rests at the top of the shape whose recession is to be measured, while the beam or rods extend to the bottom of the recession to determine the measurement. Gauge position is read from a graduated scale, dial, counters, or an electronic display.Mitutoyo manufactures precision measuring tools, metrology equipment, and related systems. The company, founded in Tokyo in 1934, formed Mitutoyo America Corporation in 1963 with headquarters in Aurora, IL.

The Mitutoyo 293 series Coolant Proof LCD micrometer has a digital single-value LCD readout that displays in metric units with resolution to 0.001mm for outside diameter (OD) measurement, and a ratchet thimble mechanism that helps provide precise, repeatable measurement. The micrometer’s electronic microprocessor can hold measurements at any position, convert to absolute value, set a temporary zero position, and return to a true zero reading. On some models, an output jack transmits Statistical Process Control (SPC) data results to a computer or external device through an interface cable (sold separately). The electronics housing has an Ingress Protection 65 (IP65) rating, which means that components are resistant to penetration by dust and debris, and resistant to penetration by liquids and coolant up to the force of a low-pressure (to 30 kilonewtons/meter-squared) water jet.. The spindle and anvil have flat measuring faces and are carbide-tipped for wear resistance. A spindle lock helps provide secure locking of the measurement position. The micrometer includes, and is powered by, a single SR44 silver oxide battery, and comes with a fitted case for storage.Micrometers are precision measuring instruments that use a calibrated screw to measure small distances. These measurements are translated into large rotations of the screw that are then able to be read from a scale or a dial. Micrometers are typically used in manufacturing, machining, and mechanical engineering. There are three types of micrometer: outside, inside, and depth. Outside micrometers may also be called micrometer calipers, and are used to measure the length, width, or outside diameter of an object. Inside micrometers are typically used to measure interior diameter, as in a hole. Depth micrometers measure the height, or depth, of any shape that has a step, groove, or slot.Mitutoyo manufactures precision measuring tools, metrology equipment, and systems. Complete combination set feature the combination square with a center head and with a reversible protractor. As the name indicates, this tool can be used for many different purposes - a complete substitute for a whole set of common solid try squares, a 45 degree miter, a depth gauge, a height gauge, a marking or scribing gauge, a level, a plumb and, by withdrawing the blade, it can also be used as a precision rule. This saves littering the workbench with too many tools, each being necessary but may be used less. This results in the goal of all good craftsmen - better accuracy and greater efficiency.

The Starrett 443 Vernier Depth Gauges with Half Base, Micrometer Type, Inch, depending on the model, have a measurement range of 0 to 3", 0 to 6", or 0 to 9" ; a resolution (or smallest graduation interval) of 0.001", with + or – 0.0001" of accuracy. The vernier scale enables precise measurements in fine units. These gauges include 5/32" diameter measuring rods to cover the intended range. These units have two-inch long half bases that enable measurements of depressions close to shoulders and between obstructions. The bases and all measuring surfaces are hardened, ground, and lapped for accuracy. These gauges have a ring-type knurled lock nut and a combination ratchet and speeder to stabilize the gauge for precise measurements. These units include a protective case. The Fowler 52-246 series outside micrometer has a blade-style anvil/spindle pair with a choice of measuring range and 0.0001" graduations and is designed to measure groove diameters of shafts and workpieces with narrow or recessed features. The Vernier scale has 0.0001" graduations and an accuracy of 0.0002" for precise readings and accurate measurements. A zero adjustment on the sleeve ensures accurate measurements. The blade has a 0.030" thickness, a 0.256" width, and a 0.315" penetration for measuring narrow grooves and hard-to-reach areas, and a non-rotating spindle keeps workpieces stable during measurements. The hardened, ground, and lapped spindle thread provides smooth movement, accuracy, and long life. The ratchet-stop thimble can be used independently of the friction thimble. It provides an audible sound and stops the spindle from turning when the spindle comes into contact with the workpiece, providing constant force for consistent measurements between operators. A satin chrome finish on the thimble and sleeve helps reduce rust and glare, providing durability and long life, and microfine graduations help ensure accurate readings. The baked-enamel frame is heat-insulated to provide durability, long life, and resistance to temperature-related expansion and contraction. The micrometer includes a wrench and a fitted case. Micrometers 2" and above include a standard.
