The Mitutoyo 570-313 LCD Absolute Digimatic height gauge displays a metric measurement range of 0†- 18"/0 - 450 mm, an LCD digital readout precise to 0.0005â€/0.01 mm, with + or - 0.002â€/0.05 mm of accuracy, and data output to transmit results to a Mitutoyo miniprocessor or computer for statistical process control (SPC). This height gauge has an electronic microprocessor providing the ability to preset a reference height at any position, as well as to set a temporary zero position and return to a true zero reading. The output port transmits results to a Mitutoyo miniprocessor or computer through an interface cable (not included) for statistical process control (SPC). The gauge has a plug to receive input from an electronic touch probe (not included) for efficient digital measurement. An electrostatic capacitance linear encoder helps prevent overspeed errors to help ensure repeatable, precise measurement. A hand-operated feed wheel raises and lowers the gauge on the beam for measurement ease, and a clamp lever allows the user to hold measurement position. The scriber, used to mark a position on a workpiece, is 30 mm x 60 mm (H x W), carbide-tipped to help prolong life, and is held to the gauge by a screw clamp for fastening ease. The grip-base helps hold the unit in position by hand. The height gauge weighs 13 lbs/5.9 kg. The unit comes with an SR44 battery. Height gauges, also called gages, are precision measuring instruments that travel on a vertical column (also called the beam) to measure and/or mark the vertical distance from the base of an object in fine units. The vertical position of the gauge and its attached pointer are changed by turning a calibrated screw, or one or more feed wheels. Recorded rotations are read from a scale, a dial, counters, and/or an electronic display. A screw clamp holds the pointer to the gauge. The pointer is typically sharpened to act as a scriber, and can be used to mark position on a workpiece by scratching its surface. On compatible units, the scriber ma...

The Brown & Sharpe TESA measuring head for Intrimik micrometers is an accessory for use with the Brown & Sharpe Intermik LCD capa micrometer. It has three-point contacts for self-centering measurement of the inside dimension (ID) of bores. The measuring head is made of high-grade tool steel for durability and has a satin chrome rust- and glare-resistant finish. The measuring faces are made of hardened steel and may be uncoated, TiN-coated, or tungsten carbide-tipped for wear resistance, depending on the model.Micrometers are precision measuring instruments that use a calibrated screw to measure small distances. These measurements are translated into large rotations of the screw that are then able to be read from a scale or a dial. Micrometers are typically used in manufacturing, machining, and mechanical engineering. There are three types of micrometer: outside, inside, and depth. Outside micrometers may also be called micrometer calipers, and are used to measure the length, width, or outside diameter of an object. Inside micrometers are typically used to measure interior diameter, as in a hole. Depth micrometers measure the height, or depth, of any shape that has a step, groove, or slot.Brown & Sharpe manufactures precision measuring equipment and metrology hand tools. The company, founded in 1833, played a key role in setting industrial standards in the United States. Brown & Sharpe was acquired by Hexagon Metrology in 2001, and is headquartered in North Kingstown, RI.

The Starrett S668CZ shaft alignment clamp set includes two chain clamps, two 196B5 back-plunger dial indicator gauges, two PT18724 snugs, two extension plates, and various posts to perform radial and angular alignment of motors, pumps, and compressors. The set comes in a fitted case for organization and protection. The clamp set provides a pair of indicator gauges to measure alignment distortion, with a configurable armature to secure the gauges in position on two axes. The two chain clamps consist of a black anodized aluminum frame with a roller chain that can secure the clamp around a shaft up to 7.5 inches in diameter. The three pairs of 3/8-inch diameter posts measure to 5â€, 7-7/16â€, and 9†in length, and are made of stainless steel for rigidity. Two extension plates provide additional radial clearance when needed. Two stainless steel snugs secure one post to another, to hold the gauges in measuring position. The two 196B5 back-plunger dial indicator gauges have three contact points and are graduated to 0.001â€, with a travel range to 0.2†The gauges have a 0.25†shank, a white dial face with numbers ascending from 0 to 50 and descending back to 0, and a rotating knurled bezel to set the dial pointer to the zero position. Clamps are fastening tools that use pressure to secure workpieces to each other or to a workspace, and prevent movement. Clamp style varies widely, depending on general and specialized applications. Many clamps are for temporary use during construction, repair, or alignment of a workpiece, while others may be used to secure a component in its final installation or assembly. The L.S. The Mitutoyo 329-351-10 LCD Depth Micrometer, Interchangeable Rod Type, has a range of 0 to 12" (0 to 304.8mm), and a resolution (or smallest graduation interval) of 0.00005" (0.001mm). (See the product catalog for information on accuracy.) The LCD interface displays in both inches and metric. The gauge includes six measuring rods that can be adjusted in 1" (25mm) increments. The display has origin-set, preset, zero, data hold, and data output functions for the users' convenience. It has a satin chrome finish on the body for readability. The base is 4" (101.6mm) long and is made of hardened steel for durability and accuracy. This gauge has a ratchet stop and measuring rod clamp for precise measurements. The gauge conforms to European Conformity (CE) marking. The unit includes an SR44 battery and a protective plastic case, and the shipping weight is 3.61 lb. Depth gauges are typically used in manufacturing, machining, and mechanical engineering. Depth gauges are precision measuring instruments used to determine the depth of any shape that has a step, groove, or slot. These gauges often take the form of sliders that travel on a measuring beam or rods, are moved to position by hand, and then adjusted with a calibrated screw. The base of the gauge rests at the top of the shape whose recession is to be measured, while the beam or rods extend to the bottom of the recession to determine the measurement.
