Leica line L2 cast line instrument We Ship to Worldwide Horizontal aligning Spirit levels and string lines are a thing of the past; now the Leica Lino L2 is the convenient way to transfer reference points from one wall to another. Vertical aligning Here the large glass lens shows what it's made of: the simple way to ensure that wall and floor tile joints precisely meet one another. Exact 90° angle Alignment tasks such as marking out 90° angles are done at the touch of a button. Saving you real time! Aligning at an angle You can manually switch off the self-levelling feature using the lock function. The laser line can then be projected at any angle. The lock function also serves as transport protection. Working in very bright conditions The pulse function is not just an energy-saving mode: it also allows you to locate the laser lines using a laser detector, even in very bright lighting conditions. A series of acoustic signals from the detector indicates the precise position of the laser beam plane.

The Mitutoyo 118 series sheet metal micrometer has a deep-throated frame for measuring thickness of sheet metal, paper, plastic, or rubber parts, and a vernier scale in metric units for taking precise outside diameter (OD) measurements. A ratchet-stop mechanism helps provide uniform pressure for precise, repeatable measurement. The micrometer’s frame has a baked enamel finish for protection and durability. The vernier scale on the thimble and sleeve is graduated to 0.01mm, depending on the model, with a satin chrome rust- and glare-resistant finish. The measuring faces are carbide-tipped for wear resistance. A spindle lock helps provide secure locking of the measurement position. The micrometer comes with a plastic case for storage.Micrometers are precision measuring instruments that use a calibrated screw to measure small distances. These measurements are translated into large rotations of the screw that are then able to be read from a scale or a dial. Micrometers are typically used in manufacturing, machining, and mechanical engineering. There are three types of micrometer: outside, inside, and depth. Outside micrometers may also be called micrometer calipers, and are used to measure the length, width, or outside diameter of an object. Inside micrometers are typically used to measure interior diameter, as in a hole. Depth micrometers measure the height, or depth, of any shape that has a step, groove, or slot.Mitutoyo manufactures precision measuring tools, metrology equipment, and systems. The company was founded in Tokyo in 1934 and formed Mitutoyo America Corporation in 1963, which is headquartered in Aurora, IL.

The Brown & Sharpe TESA Isomaster standard outside micrometer has a vernier scale in metric units for taking precise outside diameter (OD) measurements, a friction drive thimble mechanism for uniform pressure during adjustment, and tungsten carbide faces for wear resistance. The micrometer’s frame is heat-insulated to help reduce temperature-related expansion or contraction. The vernier scale on the thimble and sleeve is graduated to 0.01mm, with slanted markings on the barrel to help reduce parallax errors when reading, and a satin chrome rust- and glare-resistant finish. The spindle and anvil have flat measuring faces and are carbide-tipped for wear resistance. A spindle lock helps provide secure locking of the measurement position. The micrometer comes with a plastic case for storage.Micrometers are precision measuring instruments that use a calibrated screw to measure small distances. The Fowler 54-860 series digital outside micrometer has a disc-style anvil/spindle pair, a choice of measuring range, and an LCD with an inch/metric switchable resolution for measuring the thickness of narrow grooves and difficult or closely spaced areas, such as slots and recesses. Disc micrometers are also used to measure ribs, keys, fins, cutting edges on forming tools, and the chordal thickness of gear teeth. Carbide measuring faces provide wear resistance. A switchable resolution of 0.00005" and 0.001mm, and an accuracy of 0.00016"/0.004mm on 1 to 2" micrometers provide precise readings and accurate measurements. A friction thimble provides smooth and quiet operations, and is suitable for one-handed operation. Friction-style thimbles stop turning when the spindle comes into contact with the workpiece, providing constant force for consistent measurements between operators. The insulated steel housing provides durability and is Ingress Protection (IP) certified IP54 for protection against dust and water. The LCD has a hold feature that saves the reading for recording. The micrometer can be set to take absolute or incremental measurements. Absolute measurements provide the total dimension of the workpiece. Incremental measurements provide a reading that shows the difference between a set standard and workpiece being measured. This type of reading is often used to determine if a workpiece falls within tolerance levels. RS-232 output transfers data to a computer (cable not included). The micrometer requires a Type 357 battery (included), and includes a fitted case. Micrometers 2" and above include a standard. The Mitutoyo 511-736 Bore Gauge without Indicator has a measurement range of 10 to 16". The grip reduces the influence of heat from the operator's hand during use to retain high-accuracy measurement. This gauge uses a two-point contact system for the detection of geometry problems such as ovality and taper, and carbide-tipped contact points provide extended wear and improved abrasion resistance. This gauge is for use with Mitutoyo dial indicators (sold separately).Bore gauges measure holes, or bores, in a workpiece. They can measure the interior diameter of a hole at any depth, while internal micrometers can only measure to the depth of their teeth. Bore gauges are typically calibrated with a setting ring and come in two types: simple and direct-measuring. Simple bore gauges are used with a caliper to transfer the hole measurement, while the more complex gauges take the measurement directly, and display it through a vernier, dial, or digital display. Bore gauges have a two- or three-point contact, indicating how many points on the gauge head touch the inside of the bore. Two-point contacts are better at measuring ovality, while three-point contacts are used to measure lobing or triangular form error. Pistol-grip bore gauges are used for fast, single-handed operation with repeatable results from one operator to another. Bore gauges can also be used in special applications, such as measuring threads, spline pitch diameters, and deep bores.Mitutoyo manufactures precision measuring tools, metrology equipment, and related systems. The company, founded in Tokyo in 1934, formed Mitutoyo America Corporation in 1963 with headquarters in Aurora, IL.
