Sound, structurally stable, design and specifications, coupled with a highly experienced, solid manufacturing and quality management system, guarantees YPG Adjustable Limit Snap gages supplied into the USA market are of the highest quality. Gages can be 'Set, Sealed and Certified' to pre-determined Go/No Go sizes in YPG's accredited calibration laboratory. A fully stabilized cast iron frame forms the base of the 'C' type adjustable limit snap gage. A one piece, rectangular anvil and two adjustable square anvils all manufactured from hardened, lapped, tool steel, form the base of the measuring gage. The large anvil gauging surfaces of the type 'C' ensures a long life and a consistently high level of measuring capability and repeatability. Additionally, having only two adjustable anvils, the Go/No Go setting procedure is quick and straightforward. The Quality Management System operated by YPG is ISO 9001-2000 registered. This certification encompasses the entire organization and confirms the company's management system meets the required standard and in particular confirms the desire to exceed customer expectations and to be continually improving the products and services offered. All gages set at YPG are done in the company's state of the art, A2LA certified metrology laboratory. Product certification can be supplied on any gage calibrated or set in the laboratory. Adjustable Limit Snap Gages are precision gauging devices generally used in a production environment for the rapid, accurate and foolproof inspection of component parts during and after a production. There are certain basic rules which need to be followed to ensure adjustable limit snap gages perform to their expected accuracy and have a long operational life. 1/4" - 1/2" inch range and 6 - 13mm metric range.

The Brown & Sharpe TESA interchangeable thread inserts for TESA AC series micrometers are an accessory for use with the Brown & Sharpe TESA Micromaster AC or Isomaster AC micrometer. The V-anvil and conical spindle tip pair have a 55-degree flank angle and are sized in inch units for measuring the pitch diameter of Whitworth screw threads. The thread inserts are made of hardened steel for durability.Micrometers are precision measuring instruments that use a calibrated screw to measure small distances. These measurements are translated into large rotations of the screw that are then able to be read from a scale or a dial. Micrometers are typically used in manufacturing, machining, and mechanical engineering. There are three types of micrometer: outside, inside, and depth. Outside micrometers may also be called micrometer calipers, and are used to measure the length, width, or outside diameter of an object. Inside micrometers are typically used to measure interior diameter, as in a hole. Depth micrometers measure the height, or depth, of any shape that has a step, groove, or slot. Micrometer heads are for mounting in fixtures, where they are typically used for measurement, or as stops or feeds.Brown & Sharpe manufactures precision measuring equipment and metrology hand tools. The company, founded in 1833, played a key role in setting industrial standards in the United States. Brown & Sharpe was acquired by Hexagon Metrology in 2001, and is headquartered in North Kingstown, RI.

Starrett 657P Magnetic Base indicator holder is compatible with indicators from Starrett and other manufacturers, has a push-button on/off switch, a V-step, grips three ways, and measures 1-15/16 x 1-5/8 x 1-7/8 inches/50 x 40 x 48 mm (H x W x D). (H is the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is the horizontal distance from left to right; D is the horizontal distance from front to back.) The base has three precision-ground, magnetic contact points to grip horizontally, vertically, and upside-down, and a push-button on/off switch for one-handed operation. A V-step holds the base to arbors, shafts, and other cylindrical items. The base has an additional 1/4-20 tapped hole on one side for mounting the post. The magnetic base has a non-skid, black wrinkle finish on all non-working surfaces. For use with all Starrett test, back-plunger, dial, AGD, and miniature-dial indicators, as well as similar indicators from other manufacturers. Magnetic bases are magnetic fixtures commonly used in metalworking to hold dial indicators, and are also used in other fields, such as optics. Magnetic bases can assist the user with setting up a workpiece in a milling machine, surface grinder, or other machine tool. The vertical post and rod in a magnetic base connect using swiveling connectors, or snugs. This allows free motion of the arm so that the dial indicator can be moved into position on the workpiece. Many magnetic bases have a V-step, which is a V-shaped notch in the base for holding the base to arbors, shafts, and other cylindrical items. The magnetic base has a circular hole through the center. A round permanent magnet is inserted into this hole, and a handle or button is attached to allow the user to rotate the magnet. Rotating the magnet turns the base on and off as this causes the position of the magnetic field to rotate as well. In the on position, the iron is acting as an extension of the magnet, while in the off position, the magnet is acting as a keeper, preventing the magnetic field from extending throug...
