The Mitutoyo 139 series tubular vernier inside micrometer has a vernier scale in inch units for taking precise inside dimension (ID) measurements of the inside dimensions of cylinders, rings, and parallel surfaces. It may also be used with interchangeable extension pipes for a diversified range of measurement (sold separately). The vernier scale is graudated to 0.001â€, and has a satin chrome rust- and glare-resistant finish. The micrometer head has a travel of 0.5†or 1†per revolution depending on the model. A knurled ring-type lock nut helps hold measurements in place. The micrometer and accessories come with a wooden case for storage.Micrometers are precision measuring instruments that use a calibrated screw to measure small distances. These measurements are translated into large rotations of the screw that are then able to be read from a scale or a dial. Micrometers are typically used in manufacturing, machining, and mechanical engineering. There are three types of micrometer: outside, inside, and depth. Outside micrometers may also be called micrometer calipers, and are used to measure the length, width, or outside diameter of an object. Inside micrometers are typically used to measure interior diameter, as in a hole. Depth micrometers measure the height, or depth, of any shape that has a step, groove, or slot.Mitutoyo manufactures precision measuring tools, metrology equipment, and systems. The company was founded in Tokyo in 1934 and formed Mitutoyo America Corporation in 1963, which is headquartered in Aurora, IL.

This Advanced Systems & Designs FlashCable® is a device engineered to change the output on the Mahr Federal uMaxum II digital indicator to an output in a Digimatic format. This FlashCable is designed to work with Advanced Systems & Designs GageMux® USB or other similar Digimatic input devices. The FlashCable output can be directly connected to the GageMux® USB or other devices that recognize the Mitutoyo Digimatic signal. The FlashCable does not obtain any power from the gage. When connected to the GageMux® USB, pin 9 of the 10-pin input port provides the power to the FlashCable. If using connecting devices, other than the GageMux® USB, make sure pin 9 of the 10-pin connector provides a 5VDC supply to the FlashCable.
The data transfer can be triggered using any of the following methods:
• Using the data send button on the gage, if it has one
• Using a Footswitch on the FlashCable (not included)
• Using the Footswitch on the GageMux® USB (or equivalent triggering method on similar devices
• Sending a gage read command from the computer to the gage.
A detailed operation manual is included with this FlashCable. Can ship only within the United States.

The Mitutoyo 152 series micrometer head has a large-diameter thimble for fine positioning and ease of reading and either an anti-rotation device on the spindle or a spherical measuring face for use as an XY-stage feed. The vernier scale has graduations in metric units for taking precise measurements, and a white anodized aluminum rust- and glare-resistant finish. Models with an anti-rotation device have bidirectional graduations to 0.005mm, a hardened steel measuring face for durability, and a floating thimble mechanism for adjustable zero-setting to help provide accuracy. Models with a spherical measuring face are graduated to 0.001mm, have a carbide-tipped measuring face for wear resistance, and an adjustable spindle for zero-setting. The micrometer head has a plain stem for mounting in a fixture with a split-body clamp or setscrew. The measuring face is lapped to help provide accuracy.Micrometers are precision measuring instruments that use a calibrated screw to measure small distances.
