The Mitutoyo Series 7200 Dial Depth Gauges, Indicator Type, Inch, have a measurement range of 0 to 8", a stroke (or travel distance of the indicator) of either 0.2" or 1", a resolution (or smallest graduation interval) of 0.001", with + or – 0.002" of accuracy. The dial gauge interface provides precise and easily readable measurements. Models 7237 and 7238 have a back plunger type dial indicator to enable upward facing readings. The units all contain four extension measuring rods for flexibility in range. The bases of the units are either 2.5" or 4" long, depending on the model. The bottom of the bases are hardened, ground, and lapped for durability and accuracy. The ball point used for measuring is carbide-tipped for durability and accuracy. Depth gauges are typically used in manufacturing, machining, and mechanical engineering. Depth gauges are precision measuring instruments used to determine the depth of any shape that has a step, groove, or slot. These gauges often take the form of sliders that travel on a measuring beam or rods, are moved to position by hand, and then adjusted with a calibrated screw. The base of the gauge rests at the top of the shape whose recession is to be measured, while the beam or rods extend to the bottom of the recession to determine the measurement. Gauge position is read from a graduated scale, dial, counters, or an electronic display.Mitutoyo manufactures precision measuring tools, metrology equipment, and related systems. The company, founded in Tokyo in 1934, formed Mitutoyo America Corporation in 1963 with headquarters in Aurora, IL.

The Mitutoyo 133 series tubular vernier inside micrometer has a vernier scale in metric units for taking precise inside dimension (ID) measurements of the inside of cylinders, rings, and parallel surfaces. The micrometer head sleeve rotates to adjust the zero point to help provide accuracy. A locking clamp helps hold measurements in place. The vernier scale is graduated to 0.01mm, and has a satin chrome rust- and glare-resistant finish. The measuring faces are carbide-tipped for wear resistance. The micrometer comes with a fitted case for storage.Micrometers are precision measuring instruments that use a calibrated screw to measure small distances. These measurements are translated into large rotations of the screw that are then able to be read from a scale or a dial. Micrometers are typically used in manufacturing, machining, and mechanical engineering. There are three types of micrometer: outside, inside, and depth. Outside micrometers may also be called micrometer calipers, and are used to measure the length, width, or outside diameter of an object. Inside micrometers are typically used to measure interior diameter, as in a hole. Depth micrometers measure the height, or depth, of any shape that has a step, groove, or slot.Mitutoyo manufactures precision measuring tools, metrology equipment, and systems. The Mitutoyo 395 series LCD tube micrometer has a vertical anvil for measuring tubing wall thickness. It also has a digital single-value LCD readout that displays in metric units with resolution to 0.001mm, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) data output to transmit results to a computer or external device. The output jack transmits SPC results to a computer through an interface cable (sold separately). The micrometer’s electronic microprocessor can hold measurement at any position, convert to absolute value, set a temporary zero position, and return to a true zero reading. The electronics housing has an Ingress Protection 65 (IP65) rating, which means that components are resistant to penetration by dust and debris, and resistant to penetration by liquids and coolant up to the force of a low-pressure (to 30 kilonewtons/meter-squared) water jet. The spindle has a flat measuring face that is carbide-tipped for wear resistance. The vertical anvil may be a pin, spherical, or cylindrical type. The micrometer’s ratchet-stop mechanism helps provide uniform pressure during adjustment for precise, repeatable measurement. A spindle lock helps provide secure locking of the measurement position. The micrometer includes, and is powered by, a single SR44 silver oxide battery, and comes with a plastic case for storage.Micrometers are precision measuring instruments that use a calibrated screw to measure small distances. The Mitutoyo 543-474B Absolute Digimatic electronic indicator gauge, ID-C series, is for measuring short, linear distances in mechanical engineering, machining, and manufacturing applications. It has a measurement range of 0 to 25.4mm, a resolution of 0.01mm, and an accuracy of + or - 0.03mm. The LCD readout displays measurements in metric units. The indicator has a go/no-go display that lights green or red, respectively, when upper and/or lower tolerances have been set, and the result can be displayed in full-size characters. The face of the indicator can be rotated 330 degrees for reading from different directions. It has an 8mm diameter stem and an M2.5X0.45 contact point thread mount. An Absolute electrostatic capacitance linear encoder helps prevent overspeed errors for taking accurate measurements. This model is Ingress Protection certified IP42 for protection against objects greater than 1mm and dripping water.Additional functions for this indicator include origin set, preset, zero set, counting direction switching, and alerts for low voltage, counting value composition, overflow, and tolerance limit setting errors. The measuring force is 1.8 Newtons (N) or less. It has a battery life of approximately 7,000 hours of normal use. This unit comes with a SR-44 battery and lifting lever. This gauge offers serial data output (using optional SPC cables, sold separately), which increases speed and reliability of digital measurement records.SpecificationsRange0 to 25.4mmResolution0.01mmAccuracy+ or - 0.003mm with quantizing error of 1 countMeasuring force1.8N or lessStemM2.5X0.45 contact point thread mount with 8mm diameter stemFaceBacklit LCD digital in metric units, green or red lighting displays go/no-go judgment, and rotates 330 degrees, with flat backData outputYesDimensions168.5 x 59 x 42.5mm (H x W x D)Shipping weight1lb.StandardsIP42Power sourceSR-44 battery (included)H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the ...

Sound, structurally stable, design and specifications, coupled with a highly experienced, solid manufacturing and quality management system, guarantees YPG Adjustable Limit Snap gages supplied into the USA market are of the highest quality. gages can be 'Set, Sealed and Certified' to pre-determined Go/No Go sizes in YPG's accredited calibration laboratory. A fully stabilized cast iron frame forms the base of the 'U' type adjustable limit snap gage. The one piece, knife edge, rectangular anvil and the two knife edge, adjustable anvils are all manufactured from hardened, lapped, tool steel. The blades of the type 'U' make its primary use that of gauging the lower diameter of external grooves. Having only two adjustable anvils, the Go/No Go setting procedure is quick and straightforward. The blades are supplied with a standard thickness and depth, both of which can be modified by YPG to meet specific customer application requirements. Radius and chamfer changes can also be modified on request. In addition the 'U' type is very readily used as a more robust replacement for the "Reef" type gage. The Quality Management System operated by YPG is ISO 9001-2000 registered. This certification encompasses the entire organization and confirms the company's management system meets the required standard and in particular confirms the desire to exceed customer expectations and to be continually improving the products and services offered. All gages set at YPG are done in the company's state of the art, A2LA certified metrology laboratory. Product certification can be supplied on any gage calibrated or set in the laboratory. Adjustable Limit Snap Gages are precision gauging devices generally used in a production environment for the rapid, accurate and foolproof inspection of component parts during and after a production. There are certain basic rules which need to be followed to ensure adjustable limit snap gages perform to their expected accuracy and have a long operational life. 1-1/4" - 1-1/2" inch range and 32 - 38mm metric r...
