The Mitutoyo 568-014 Borematic LCD Bore Gauge Display Unit reads measurement ranges of 6 to 12 mm, 12 to 25 mm, 25 to 50 mm, and 50 to 100 mm. It has a resolution of 0.00005"/0.001 mm. The 330-degree rotatable LCD offers quick and error-free measurement reading and displays both inch and metric readings. This display unit is for use with Mitutoyo Borematic interchangeable measuring heads (sold separately).Bore gauges measure holes, or bores, in a workpiece. They can measure the interior diameter of a hole at any depth, while internal micrometers can only measure to the depth of their teeth. Bore gauges are typically calibrated with a setting ring and come in two types: simple and direct-measuring. Simple bore gauges are used with a caliper to transfer the hole measurement, while the more complex gauges take the measurement directly, and display it through a vernier, dial, or digital display. Bore gauges have a two- or three-point contact, indicating how many points on the gauge head touch the inside of the bore. Two-point contacts are better at measuring ovality, while three-point contacts are used to measure lobing or triangular form error. Pistol-grip bore gauges are used for fast, single-handed operation with repeatable results from one operator to another. Bore gauges can also be used in special applications, such as measuring threads, spline pitch diameters, and deep bores.Mitutoyo manufactures precision measuring tools, metrology equipment, and related systems. The company, founded in Tokyo in 1934, formed Mitutoyo America Corporation in 1963 with headquarters in Aurora, IL.

These are the most popular inside micrometers because of their lightness, ease of use, and range. They are very useful for measuring inside diameters of cylinders and rings, measuring parallel surfaces, etc. The desired range is obtained by assembling rods and spacing collars to the micrometer head. Measuring rods are provided with a shoulder that is set accurately in the micrometer head and locked in position. When assembling rods to the A and B heads, the reading line on the micrometer head should be lined up with the marking on each rod (except for the 50-75mm rods). Rod diameters are approximately 8.5mm. Each rod has individual length adjustment for the anvil by means of special wrenches furnished. Movement of screw: 25mm, number of measuring rods: 4, Number of spacing collars: One 25mm Two 50mm.

The Mitutoyo 192-671-10 LCD Digimatic height gauge displays in inches or metric units within a range of 0†to 18†(0 - 450 mm), has an LCD digital readout with selectable resolution of 0.0005†(0.01mm) or 0.0002†(0.005mm), with + or - 0.0015†(0.04 mm) of accuracy, and data output to transmit results to a Mitutoyo miniprocessor or computer for statistical process control (SPC). This height gauge has an electronic microprocessor providing the ability to preset up to two reference heights at any position, hold data at any position, compensate for probe diameter, as well as set a temporary zero position and return to a true zero reading. The output port transmits results to a Mitutoyo miniprocessor or computer through an interface cable (not included) for SPC. The gauge has a plug to receive input from an electronic touch probe (not included) for efficient digital measurement. The scriber, used to mark a position on a workpiece, is 45.7 mm x 150 mm (H x L), carbide-tipped for hardness and to help prolong life, and is held to the gauge by a screw clamp for fastening ease. A dual-column beam provides stability that helps promote accurate measurements. A hand-operated feed wheel raises and lowers the gauge on the beam for ease of measurement, and is selectable for coarse or fine travel. The grip-base helps hold the unit in position by hand. The height gauge weighs 16.54 lbs/7.5 kg. The unit comes with an SR44 battery. Height gauges, also called gages, are precision measuring instruments that travel on a vertical column (also called the beam) to measure and/or mark the vertical distance from the base of an object in fine units. The vertical position of the gauge and its attached pointer are changed by turning a calibrated screw, or one or more feed wheels. Recorded rotations are read from a scale, a dial, counters, and/or an electronic display. A screw clamp holds the pointer to the gauge. The pointer is typically sharpened to act as a scriber, and can be used to mark position on a workp...

Starrett 1175Z Dial Indicator 81-136-1175 Groove Gauge is used for measuring inner diameter (ID) grooves and internal recesses, reads to 0.0005â€, has a dial reading of + or - 30 graduations, and a total measurement range of 0.060â€. Two sets of interchangeable jaws measure to gauging depths of 1.25†and 2.50â€, and three sets of interchangeable contacts are used with 0.375†- 6.00†bore diameters, 0.100†- 0.265†groove depths, and 0.024†- 0.051†groove widths. The moveable gauging contacts have a 1/2†retractable range, are made from hardened steel and have a chrome finish for long life, and flush ends for gauging blind holes. The fixed lower jaw supports the weight of the gauge and the operator’s hands, preventing incorrect gauging pressure and false readings. A fine adjustment screw and lock help provide additional accuracy. Dial indicators, also called dial gauges, dial calipers, and probe indicators, are precision measuring tools used to measure small linear distances and object sizes. The dial magnifies the measurement for readability by the human eye. They are frequently used in manufacturing, laboratories, and other industrial or mechanical fields, and are suitable anywhere a small measurement must be taken and recorded or transferred, such as checking the variation in tolerance of a workpiece. Dial test indicators are very similar to dial indicators, except that the axis of measurement is perpendicular to the axis of the indicator. Standard dial indicators measure the displacement along the axis of the indicator. Dial indicators can be analog, with a mechanical dial, or electronic, with a digital display. The L.S. Starrett Company manufactures precision measuring tools, metrology and testing equipment, and saw blade products. The company was founded in 1880 and is headquartered in Athol, MA.
