The Model 9.2 Bilirubin Meter uses a GaP Photodiode packaged in hermetically sealed UV glass window cap. Filter used to narrow response as shown on spectral response graph. Applications include monitoring bilirubin light intensity and aging, monitoring blue LED/lamp intensity and aging, monitoring aquarium lamp intensity and aging, monitoring acne lamp intensity and aging, testing eyewear actinic blocking capabilities, and measuring photosynthetic action spectrum blue band. To operate, press and hold push-button switch on face of unit. Aim sensor window in top panel of meter directly at blue light source. Note reading on LCD and record if desired.
