Fowler 54-100-502 Stainless Steel Frame S_Cal Work Electronic Caliper, 6" Maximum Measurement

The Fowler Sylvac S_Cal Work digital caliper has resolution of 0.0005"/0.01mm, a hardened stainless steel frame, and an LCD showing inch and metric units. The digital, single-value readout LCD shows inch, and metric units for versatility when measuring. It has a zero setting and absolute and relative modes for taking intermediate or differential measurements. The knurled lock screw holds the sliding jaw in position and helps ensure a consistent measurement.

The hardened stainless steel frame offers corrosion resistance and long life. The caliper is rated to IP54 level of protection against dust and splashing water from any direction up to a volume of 10 liters per minute. This caliper can output data via a USB cable, an RS-232 cable, or a wireless connection to capture and record data. The maximum measuring speed is 2m/second. This caliper is used for measuring inside dimensions (ID), outside dimensions (OD), and step. The 6" and 8" models have a depth rod. It comes with a fitted case.

Digital calipers are measuring instruments commonly used for inspection in manufacturing to provide the precise measurements of an object.
