Advanced Systems & Designs FlashCable® for Mahr Federal Model 2034101 uMaxum II Digital Indicator

This Advanced Systems & Designs FlashCable® is a device engineered to change the output on the Mahr Federal uMaxum II digital indicator to an output in a Digimatic format. This FlashCable is designed to work with Advanced Systems & Designs GageMux® USB or other similar Digimatic input devices. The FlashCable output can be directly connected to the GageMux® USB or other devices that recognize the Mitutoyo Digimatic signal. The FlashCable does not obtain any power from the gage. When connected to the GageMux® USB, pin 9 of the 10-pin input port provides the power to the FlashCable. If using connecting devices, other than the GageMux® USB, make sure pin 9 of the 10-pin connector provides a 5VDC supply to the FlashCable. The data transfer can be triggered using any of the following methods: • Using the data send button on the gage, if it has one • Using a Footswitch on the FlashCable (not included) • Using the Footswitch on the GageMux® USB (or equivalent triggering method on similar devices • Sending a gage read command from the computer to the gage.
