The workhorse of the line, from KDS, Japan's leading manufacturer of measuring tapes for 80 years. The Neo Dura blade coating is similar to the PET plastic used to make pop bottles; clear and durable, it sheds dirt, debris and spatter to be just as clear in years to come as it is today. Are you wary resting your finger under the blade to act as a brake, but don't want the tape to slam into the case at full rewind? Just pull up on the locking slider and it will apply an internal brake, slowing down the tape as it rewinds. Of course push it down and the blade locks. Scales on front and back of the blade and a 4-rivet tip, back plate and 5th rivet for a rugged tip. Made by KDS in our factory-owned plant in Malaysia. |
