The Mitutoyo Series 547 ABSOLUTE Digimatic LCD Depth Gauges, Indicator Type, Metric, depending on the model, have a measurement range of 0 to 200mm, a stroke (or travel distance of the indicator) of 12mm, and a resolution (or smallest graduation interval) of either 0.01mm with + or - 0.02mm of accuracy, or 0.001mm with + or - 0.005mm of accuracy . The LCD screen displays in metric, and can keep track of the origin point for the life of the battery (about 3.5 years under normal use). The gauges come with five measuring extension rods for flexibility. The bases of the units (either 63.5mm or 101.6mm long) are hardened, ground, and lapped for durability and accuracy. The units support Mitutoyo's data output signal (SPC Output) for devices. Optional SPC cables for use with Mitutoyo devices and extension rods are sold separately.
