Hanna Instruments HI931002 4-20 mA Simulator and Calibrator Amperometer, 0.01 pH Resolution, +/-0.01 pH at the Rate of 20 Degree C Accuracy
The Hanna Instruments HI 981002 is a portable milliamps (mA) simulator and calibrator with a single-line LCD, passive calibration or active simulation of mA, passive or active measurement testing of mA, and has extended use with the included 9V battery or 12VDC adapter. This device provides two drive modes: passive drive/calibrator and active drive/simulator. The passive drive/calibrator mode calibrates mA with manual adjustment of the process meter. The active drive/simulator mode both calibrates and provides power to the bus communication. Power is provided through the included 12VDC adapter. The device also has two measurement modes: passive measurement/tester mode and active measurement/tester mode. The passive measurement/tester mode measures and displays the mA (or pH) values transmitted by the process meter. The active measurement/tester mode measures while providing voltage to the 4 to 20 mA bus. Selection between drive and measurement modes is through a switch on the front panel and two dials allow for quick adjustment of the current. The single-line LCD displays the current reading. The 9V battery provides approximately 1600 hours of continuous use. The input resistance is 20 Ohm. The device has a 200 mA, 250V fuse. The device comes with a 1m connection cable, 9V battery, 12VDC power adapter, and instructions. Specifications
H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back. A pH meter, also called a sensor or tester, is a device used to measure the acidity or alkalinity of a substance. A pH meter has either a portable or a benchtop body. Many portable meters are handheld devices. Some testers have an internal sensor, and may have a tip and body that fit inside of a container for measurement. A meter is commonly used in many different environments, from laboratories to field research and manufacturing facilities. Researchers, manufacturers, and hobbyists use a pH meter in aquaculture, agriculture, wine-making, and water-testing, and for scientific applications. Some pH meters may measure additional parameters such as dissolved oxygen (DO), conductivity (also called electro-conductivity or EC), temperature, total dissolved solids (TDS), salinity, resistivity, or oxygen reduction potential. Hanna Instruments manufactures analytical instrumentation and supplies, including pH meters, electrodes, chemical reagents, and buffer solutions. The company, founded in 1978 and headquartered in Woonsocket, RI, meets International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standard 9001. What’s in the Box?
